Who Will Lain-Choose? (The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Team Manager!)

chapter one: Oh No!!!

Crap. I'm going to be late! Thought Lain as she ran throughout her house.  Today was her first day at Seirin High because she just moved to Japan to study abroad for the next few years.  She put on her new uniform and all her accessories be she wanted to stand out.  She put on all her fanciest jewelry and slipped on her red miu miu glasses.  After that, she went in the kitchen and had some breakfast which was  ice cream.  Suddenly, as Lain was packing up her school bag she heard a loud and obnoxious knock on the door.  Time to time random people would knock so it wasn't out of the ordinary for her, but this time it was an early weekday morning.  Lain quickly finished packing and put a piece of toast into her mouth like a typical anime school girl.  When she opened the door it was her best friend Hayden waiting for her outside. 
       "Hey Lain-Chan! Are you ready for school? Ehe~" she said poking her cheek since she had toast in her mouth.  Lain smiled and nodded yes.  She was a bit nervous as she got her bike out and got on, Hayden sitting on the back.  They planned to go to school like this every morning from now on since Seirin was very close to where they lived.  When they approached the school, they quickly got super nervous.  They went to park up Lain's bike then quickly went to walk into the front gates.  They were pretty used to getting stared at because let's face it they're so beautiful and tall, so as they walked into school they heard whispers from their new classmates.  There were people trying to recruit others for their clubs and such, so Hayden urged Lain to take a look around with her.  "Oh Come on Lain-Chan!!! Maybe we can find something we like... there's bound to be something?" She dragged Lain along as they looked from booth to booth, people trying to usher them to each stand.  Lain analyzed each booth, thinking the benefits of each club.  Suddenly, she spotted a small white table which had little people approaching, with a sign that said "basketball club".  "Oh Hayden-Chan, should we go look over there? I don't think there's anyone signing up..." Lain tugged on her uniform, gaining her attention to that direction. 
      "Lain you can't be serious? You want us to play basketball! I didn't think you were the sporty type!?"
      "No no NO!! That's not what I mean oh my god... maybe we can become managers? That way we have something to do afterschool?"
      "Oh I see... Well... it wouldn't hurt to apply.  Let's go check it out.". The two girls walked over to the white table where a girl and a boy were seated.  The people were Aida Riko, the coach of the boys basketball team, and Hyuga Junpei, the Captain of the team.  They were both second years.  The two of them were a bit shocked when they saw Lain and Hayden approach them with a small following of students behind them (their admirers).  "Hello, I'm Elaina.  Are you guys in need of team managers?"
       The guy (Hyuga) grew heart eyes looking at the girls like a purv kinda and was like "Uh YESSS PLEASE!!".  Then Riko smacked him over the head with the back of her hand and shook her head, smiling at the girls.  "You two are interested? Sure! Sign this okay?  We're going to be having our first practice tomorrow after school so you'll be able to meet the team and all the new first years that join". 

       After all their classes, the girls walked to the gym to go and meet the team, following Riko's instructions.  "Aiii, Riko-Senpai!!!" Hayden exclaimed as she walked into the gym looking around.  Lain followed behind her but all of a sudden some big smelly thing came crashing into her back when she stopped at the gym entrance, knocking her over.  "Hey- watch it!" She turned around to face the body and it was Taiga Kagami! SHE FELL AND ROLLED HEAD FIRST ONTO THE COURT. KYAAAA OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING!! Lain thought as she huffed and got up with Hayden's hand, dusting herself off angrily. He scowled but then apologized, walking over to the other first years.  Lain was very mad but she didn't say anything to avoid a scene... deep down she now hated Kagami.  The girls walked up to Riko and the second years and then Riko spoke up, "Everyone, These are going to be you're new team managers.  Lain and Hayden.  Please welcome them okay?!". Everyone bowed at them and said hello to their new managers, then Koganei whispered "GYATTEBAYO! Boobs alert 😍 two hotties have joined the club!" but nobody heard him except Riko and she smacked him.  The team was getting ready to practice so Lain and Hayden started getting the equipment out due to Riko's commands.  The girls got comfortable with the team as they TRAINED TO BECOME THE BEST IN JAPAN!!! Although... this is only the first to come.... after winning and loosing a few games... they are facing Aomine Daiki's team... the bad boy.... 😏
