Chapter- 6 💌

"Why do you think so negative yar?" Ved said politely.

Neil looks at him.

"My life made me believe this... You know it very well" Neil said with a slight smile.

Ved hugs him tightly.

"Bro I'm always here for you"

(After few days...there's an exam in class)

"I just want to pass yar...!!! This exam was very tough" Reet said with a worried expression

"You will yar...!! Trust me" Shalini said with an encouraging voice

"Your exam went well I know and maybe you will top too"

"No yar Neil is there"

"Maybe you can beat him too" Reet giggles.

Everyone was busy among themselves but..... one person was sitting quietly which was Neil. He was lost in his world and continuously thinking about something. Suddenly a hand waved in front of him.

"Hey.....!!! I know you will top this time too... Congratulations in advance" Shalini extends her hand.

But our Neil didn't answered her back.

<<<Shalini's P.O.V>>>

He is lost somewhere in his thoughts.....Wait let me touch his books... His books are more important to him rather than himself

Shalini touches his books slightly.

"What are you doing with my books???" Neil speaks suddenly.

"I was--just--"

"What do you think you're doing? Touching others things without their permission... Don't you have manners??" Neil shouted.

Everybody in the class looks at them.

"Don't shout and make a scene here" Shalini said politely.

"I am creating scene here??? Really me?" Neil protested

Suddenly teacher comes into class.

"Okay guys settle down. Today I'll discuss your marks for the 1st exam"

Everybody was worried as the first exam was complicated and difficult.

"So this time we got two toppers.... one is of course our Neil..and a new name we got this time"

Everyone's heart was beating fast... who it will be? The ambience was pin drop silence....

"So it is our new student Shalini Arora" Teacher said with a smile

Shalini was shocked and couldn't believe she scored well in that exam.

Everybody cherred for her....!!!!!

"Congratulations Shalini.. You did it....!!!!!" One classmate said

"Thank you..thank you so much" Shalini thanked them.

Everybody was happy... except one.. he was lost in his thoughts again.....

<<Neil's inner voice. >>

"What will I say to dad now? That two of us got same-same marks..... he will kill me.... I-i- What should I do now?-- God help me please......."

Shalini comes to him.

"Congratulations Yar...!!!! You topped again--"

"Why did you even came in this school?"

"Huh?" Shalini said by being confused.

"Leave me..!!!! please just go....!!!"

"Hey Neil listen....!!!!"

Neil already left from the class.

"What happened now? Why he is behaving like this" Shalini said to her self.

"Leave him for sometime.. He will be alright" Ved speaks from behind"

"But what--"

Suddenly Reet hugs Shalini from behind

"I told you naa..!!!!! You will dooooo itttt and you did it....!!!!!! Wuu huuuuuuu"

Shalini hugs back.

Ved said, "Your friend came... so I'm going"

"I never said you to leave Mr. and she is my best friend that's why I came"
Reet said

"Stop you two"
