During the year 2010 many korean music labels were looking for new talented trainees. There was a famous music company named YG Entertainment in South Korea. YG was well-known for famous K-Pop groups like 2NE1 or BigBang which lead them to success. The CEO and the creator of this Entertainment was Yang Hyun-suk. He was a former member from the boygroup Seo Taiji and Boys and created the YG Entertainment in 1997.
Yang Hyun-Suk planned to form a new girl group for the 3rd K-Pop Generation, so he started a meeting to discuss the new steps. The CEO, the Bigbang Members, the producer Teddy and the managers were sitting in a meeting room.
Yang Hyun-Suk: "Thank you for coming. We had gain so many fans worldwide and spread our music thanks to BigBang and 2NE1 but it is time to focus on new groups because their contract is over soon. I suggest to create a new four-headed girlgroup of young, talented, passionate girls who can show their skills in singing, dancing and rapping."
Teddy: "Good but with which method should we get new female trainees?"
Yang Hyun-Suk: "Teddy. Have you forgot? We opened in our website a page where people from all countries over the world can upload their audition video material. The rules were listed also. Clear audio, no distractions and only the applicant should be seen in the video and no one else."
Manager: "Did you plan how the training period will go? Are there any challenges the trainees have to deal with?"
Yang Hyun-Suk: "First of all after they got accepted by us, their flight to korea will get sponsored by us. Everyone has to introduce themselves in front of us and to answer the questions. The rules during the 6 year training will be presented. Then the monthly evaluation will start with group or solo tasks. Every month they had to deliver a performance in front of us and other trainees which will be evaluated. If they fail many times, they will be kicked out from our company."
Some of the employees were shocked of the hard plan and they got the impression that a difficult time will be coming for the trainees.
Yang Hyun-Suk: "Lastly, the trainees will hold korean, english and japanese lessons by the teachers. Vocal and dance lessons are a must. The BigBang members will be helping and coaching them also while 2NE1 is still having their tour. Okay, meeting is over. Go back to your duties! No procrasination allowed!"
Meanwhile in Thailand there was a little girl named Pranpriya Manobal who was living with her mother in Buri Ram. Her name was Pranpriya but she prefered to be called Lalisa because it meant: the one who is praised. She had blond hair and bangs. Her swiss stepfather was a certificated chef cook who worked in switzerland. She visited the school Praphamintree II in Samutprakan and was a member of the dance group We Zaa Cool with her childhood friend BamBam from Got7.
Her dream was always to be a Idol in YG Entertainment and planned to record herself to show her abilities and her character. She went to her room with many K-Pop posters hanging on the wall.
Mother: "Pranpriya! Dinner is ready. Hurry up or the food is getting cold."
Lalisa was a bit angry because her mom interrupted her audition tape.
Lalisa: "Mom. Did i tell you to please not to interrupt me while i am recording? It is very important to fulfill my dream. And also call me Lisa not Pranpriya!"
During the dinner, Lalisa was eating with her mother cooked chicken meat with rice. On the table were some fizzy drinks and a water bottle.
Mother: "Do you really want to go to Korea to train for years alone? I mean you have to take care of yourself and care respondsibilities without me. You can't even speak korean and most of them don't speak our thai native language. Are you sure you can handle it, Pranpriya?"
