"So. How was your first day of kindergarten Violet?" Violet looked up from her food, with the biggest grin on her face. "I made a friend today mom!" She said excitedly. Her mother smiled fondly. "Oh? And what's your friend's name?" Violet bounced up and down in her seat. "She said her name was Juliet! She had the prettiest hair, and face, and all these pretty clothes..." She continued to ramble on for some time, while her mother smiled and nodded. And Violet's mother was happy. It had always been hard for Violet to make friends, and she had been worried that she would be lonely and left out at school. Violet had always done best talking to kids who were extremely outgoing. They normally started the conversation, and kept it going, while all Violet had to do was listen. And that was exactly what had happened with Juliet. Juliet was the definition of outgoing. Which made her perfect for Violet. Her mother sighed happily. She only hoped that this friendship would last. For Violet's sake. And it did. But not necessarily as a FRIENDship.
