"I'll see you soon, sweetheart." Vince then grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels and stormed out of the bar, heading back into the alleyway. He thought he heard footsteps following him but he ignored it, uncapping the screw and popped it open and started to take a messy swig of whiskey before walking over to lean against his car, letting the whiskey burn his throat as he welcomed the familiar burn. He could only hear the sound of crickets chirping and the sirens of the police cruisers as he skimmed the parking lot taking another swig of whiskey until a shadow swooshed by and vince spun around, squinting.
He brushed it off and rose the bottle of whiskey to his lips and chugged more down until he placed it on the hood of his car and sat there for awhile, taking in the silence. Vince rolls his eyes, pulling his phone from his pocket to check the time until his phone died and he closed his eyes in frustration. "Fuck," He muttered incoherently as he placed his phone back in his pants pocket and putting the bottle back up to his lips and taking another swig. After that last swig, he starts to feel the lingering sensation of a headache forming as vince put the bottle down.
Vince gets up from his vehicle, stumbling as he swayed his way over towards the bricked wall, unzipping his pants, one hand went for the bricked wall. His mind all fogged up with a headache finally getting in gear. He lowered his gaze, swaying slightly as he looked up and the only thing that gave him light was the lamppost above him, flickering on and off, which sort of made him nervous but he didn't think too much about it, considering his only focus is pissing."Fuck . . . . " He groaned, slapping the brick wall. "Fuck this bar." His anger grew, but his voice didn't change nor sound angry as the engine of his car turned on behind him.
Suddenly, the lamppost wasn't the only light source, the police sirens drowned out by the sound of an engine revving, causing Vince's heart to nearly jump out of his chest.
His eyes squinted as he spun around, mid zipping up his pants, his fingers trembled, Covering the light with his hand, his one idea was Liv's new boyfriend, this stupid teenager seriously has a lot of nerve, trying to pick a fight with him.
The engine continued to rev as he took careful footsteps,
the light obviously too bright for anyone to see at all."The fuck?" Vince stepped closer, his confidence raising,
"Is that you pretty boy? Get outta my fucking car!" He clapped his hands together getting ready for another fight. He had hoped this one would escalate. To his surprise, the closer he got, the more he could
hear. . . music. Suddenly Vince was confused, the old tunes came from his own car as his footsteps slowed down. He bit his lower lip in stress, not knowing what was happening.Vince did a spin in the dark, his heartbeat could be heard in his ears, checking loosely around to see if anyone was near; to his surprise, no one, not even the dumb boyfriend. Finally, vince decided to dip his head through the window, reaching in for the key to turn the engine off.
