Over the years, Jungkook and Taehyung had become incredibly close, their bond feeling deeper than just friendship, yet not quite romantic. Jungkook found himself falling for Taehyung's sweetness and care, but he hesitated to confess his feelings, unsure of how Taehyung truly felt.

Even though Taehyung’s actions often hinted at something more, his words always stayed in the realm of friendship, leaving Jungkook confused. Whenever someone flirted with Taehyung, a wave of irritation washed over him, but he couldn’t bring himself to voice his emotions. Taehyung, too, seemed to dislike those advances, having shared his feelings with Jungkook before.

“Jungkook, please, na! I don’t want to go there without you,” Taehyung said, hugging Jungkook from behind as they both enjoyed the view from the window. The warmth of Taehyung’s embrace sent a flutter through Jungkook’s chest.

“Then don’t go. Simple,” Jungkook replied, trying to keep his tone light, but he couldn’t help but notice the way Taehyung pouted, his lips forming a small, adorable frown.

“Why are you like this?” Taehyung asked, a mix of frustration and playfulness in his voice. Jungkook turned around and affectionately pinched Taehyung’s nose, a gesture that always made Taehyung giggle.

“My baby bear, I don’t like that person. You know that too,” Jungkook said, his voice sincere. Taehyung nodded, but Jungkook could see the conflict in his eyes.

“Then don’t force me to go to her birthday party with you,” Jungkook added, crossing his arms.

“She’s my cousin. And I also don’t want to go there, but how can I convince my mom? She’s so stubborn,” Taehyung explained, his eyes wide with exasperation. Jungkook couldn’t help but chuckle at Taehyung’s plight.

“Tell her that you have a date,” Jungkook suggested, a playful grin spreading across his face. Taehyung’s eyes widened in surprise.

“What? Who? When? Do I have one?” Taehyung asked, taken aback, his cheeks flushing slightly.

“Idiot! You can say this to avoid attending her party,” Jungkook clarified, smiling.

“And you think she’ll believe me?” Taehyung questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“Won’t she?” Jungkook shot back, a teasing glint in his eyes.

“Of course not! She’ll get excited and ask me who my date is. If I say it’s a blind date, she’ll bombard me with questions about dating. I don’t even know the first thing about dates,” Taehyung explained, rolling his eyes dramatically. Jungkook laughed, the sound warm and inviting.
