I HEARD a notification bell on my phone. I had to stop walking in the street just to look on the screen and I gasped loudly with a wide eyes. I did not hesitate to scream despite of surrounded by many people.

Natanggap ang application ko?!

I checked it again and yes it clearly says.

The company has replied to my application letter.

"Oh god..." I cover my mouth.

Mabilis kong tinawagan ang number ni mama. Umaapaw ang saya ko. Ang lapad ng ngiti ko habang hinihintay na sagutin ang tawag. Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad papunta sa Cafe.

Because of the excitement I speak to her so fast and became inaudible. I had to calm myself first and speak clearly. I recieved a warm congratulations from my loving parents. After the call, I proceed in ordering a coffee.

Kanina pa ako nauuhaw.

Nilibot ko ang tingin sa loob ng Cafe at puno ito. May nakita akong bakante sa isang sulok ngunit may naka upo doon. Bahala na.

On my way to that table, someone is calling me. I answered the call quickly.

"Hello?"

Walang nagsasalita sa kabilang linya.

"Hi! Don't you mind if I sit here?" I approached the guy who sits alone on the table.

Ngumiti ako.

"N-no,"

My smile get wider. Nilapag ko sa mesa ang mga bitbit na gamit saka umupo.

"Hello? Hello? Tita hello?"

Mahina akong natawa nang marinig ang boses ng aking pamangkin. Anak ng aking kuya.

"Yes baby? I'm listening."

"I heard the n-news tita. Congratulations tita!"

I chuckled. "That's so sweet of you. Thank you darling."

"We just called to greet you tita. I think this is alright. I am sleepy tita."

Oh I remembered, gabi pala sa Pinas. "Okay baby. I love you."

"I love you too, tita."

He's four and he's bit mature to talk with. Puro kasi mga matatanda ang kasama sa bahay. I ended the call then that's the time I take a sip on my coffee.

I stilled when I suddenly remember the guy in front of me. I gave him an apologetic smile, "hey... uhm, sorry if I'm a bit loud. But thank you for letting me sit here."

He blinked like he was recovering from a shock.

"You're trembling." He said instead.

Napatingin ako mga kamay ko. Agad na tumaas ang aking kilay.

"Oh, this is caused of a too much excitement and happiness of mine."

I look at his face straightly now and the moment our eyes locked, I got froze on my seat. My mind literally get blank for seconds. I closed my fists as I tried to relax my breathing. I slowly shake my head. Why. Why. Why I didn't recognized him at first.

I opened my mouth and tried not to shutter.

"It's you... Aidan," I even tried to smile. Ang awkward. Nahiya tuloy ako lalo na at ang lalim ng tingin niya.
