Broken Bonds

Chapter 1

The suns warm glow chases the darkness of the night away from the sky, waking up all living beings on the planet. Birds start singing their tunes and soaring through the ocean blue sky. The wind blows its cool air allowing the trees leaves to shake.

However, Aurora has her head burried under her moutain of pillows trying tk avoid having to wake up. House elfs roamings the marble halls doing their normal routine. Aurora's face starts drooping back into a slumber but she quickly shoots up due to an owl burling, it's way through her window. It causes glass to shatter and fly everywhere as it flies around the room screeching.

"Im up! Im up! You stupid bird!" Auroras thick english accent rings through the room as she holds out her bare arm for the owl to land on. The owl sinks inte claws into her arm holding a ivory envelope sealed with red wax.

Aurora grabs the envelope and turns it around seeing cursive writing on it, her doe shaped forest green eyes go wide with excitement. "My letter!!!!" She squeals and the owl releases its grip on her arm and flies away.

Aurora rips open the letter excitedly and runs to a tall musclely male. He has tanned skin, dark brown eyes and curly black hair. His stern look soften as Aurora runs to him.

"Dad! Dad! Look! I got accepted into hogwarts!" Aurora waves the paper around smiling happily. Auroras  light peachy freckled face lighten up with excitement and happiness , and curly strawberry blonde hair bounces around with her frantic movements.

"Im so proud of you sweetie" the male states before picking up Aurora and spinning her around. Both smiling and happy. He holds Aurora close to him as he walks to the fireplaces mantal, theres a family photo of a woman who Aurora looks exactly alike, with him and Aurora.

"Darling, our daughter made it to Hogwarts. Shell become an amazing wizard like you." The male says softly with a smile.

"Yeah mom, ill do my best to make you proud in heaven." Aurora says smiling, however her eyes hold some sadness and pain.
Her father puts her down. "Aurora, go get dressed. Breakfast will be done soon" her father smiles and gently takes the letter reading through the school list.

Aurora nods," yes father" she says and runs to her room. She grabs a navy blue skirt, a white t shirt, white socks and some slip on shoes. She combs her hair and brushes her teeth before going to the dinning table.

"Hey miss lori!" Aurora says happily and hugs a house elf.
Lori smiles and hugs Aurora back, "good morning miss Aurora, enjoy your breakfast." The elf says before walking off to grab laundry.  Aurora sits down and begins to eat and soon is joined by her father.

After breakfast, her and her father wash up and he takes her to the fireplace and poofs them to diagon alley.

"First on the agenda-" Auroras father is cut off by Sirius black running and hugging Aurora.
"Hi Sirius!" Aurora says in a giggly tone as her and Sirius hug.

"Sirius Black! Get your arse back here right now!" The screetching from a british woman can be heard through the echoing walls of the alley. Walburga approches with an angry look on her face, her piercing deep brown eyes shooting glares til they soften.

"Oh my hello Liam and little Aurora!" Her voice softens and becomes friendly and sweet. "Im so glad that both kids got accepted." She states smiling at Liam.

"Agreed, theyre the bestest of friends. It would break their hearts to not have each other." Liam states before messing up Sirius' head. "Well, Aurora and i must go, we have lots of shopping to do." Liam states before walking off with Aurora.

After hours of shopping and mishaps, Auroras school list has been finished. Liam brings Aurora back to the spot and poof them both back home.

"I love Peanut!" Aurora states while petting her toasty brown colored owl, the owl hoos in response as he allows her to pet him.

The next day, Aurora and her father poof to the train station with all of her luggage. Her father hands her a bag of galleons and kisses her forehead.

"Sweetie, be safe for me ok? And always write to me." Liam states sternly yet lovingly.

Aurora giggles and nods and hugs her father. "I love you dad! Ill miss you" she smiles.

Liam hugs her tightly,"i love you more than youll ever know my angel. Ill miss you so much" he tears up a bit before letting her go and watching her wave and run into the train. He waves back and watches the train leave.

Aurora sits next to Sirius smiling. "So Sirius, are you excited for hogwarts?" She asks.

Sirius smirks,"yes i am! We are going to be the best wizards ever. Best friends for life?" He asks holding out his pinkie.

Aurora attaches her pinkie to his,"best friends for life." She says smiling wide.
