Travis's POV

It's game practice day which basically means that all the coaches and players and cheerleaders and anyone on the field during an actual game is here so tomorrow isn't a disaster.

We get done with a play and I walk over to the water area. I take a drink before looking around and sneaking over to the cheerleaders. My favorite cheerleader to be specific. We had slept together once during the offseason but then we decided to keep it at friends. But that was then.

"Travis what are you doing! You can be over here. What if someone sees you." Taylor whisper yells as I walk up to her. "I'm just a player making small talk with my hype girl." I say while taking a sip of water.

I talk with her for a few minutes, I look around before taking a step back to get a napkin. "Tay write your number on this later and leave it by my car." I ask her. "Are you sure? What if I get caught?" She says taking the napkin and looking around. "Id rather get in trouble than have to only talk to you at work." I say. "Okay." She giggles and pushes me back to the field. The whole rest of the day I make sure to keep an eye on her.

Taylors POV

"Miss Taylor, I'll see you in my office." My coach says to me from behind once Travis walks away. I gulp before turning around. "Yes ma'am." I respond and drop my red and gold pom poms.

I make my way up to her office and take a seat. She walks in a few moments later and sits across from me at her desk.

She puts her glasses on and looks at me. "So tell me what's going on with you and 87." She says firmly. "There's nothing going on ma'am." I say.

She sighs, "So you guys aren't dating?" I shake my head. "You're not sleeping with him." I shake my head again. Technically that's not a lie. We're not currently sleeping together, but gosh I wish we were.

"Then why are you taking every chance to speak to him on the field?" She asks me. Uh oh. I don't really have an answer to this question. "Me and Kelce are just friends, I knew him in college." I lie. It makes my lie a little more convincing that I did go to Cincinnati. I didn't know him, all though I wish I did.

"Taylor you know that the NFL has a zero tolerance policy for players and cheerleaders to have any type of relationship what so ever." She says while sitting back and crossing her arms. "I know ma'am, but I can assure you that we never have and never will go any farther than friends." Lie. "Okay, no more talking to him at work." She says. "Okay." She hands me a pink slip from her drawer. A pink slip is a warning, meaning that you've broken the rules. You get enough pink slips and you're fired. Thankfully this is my first one and I think the reason is pretty worth it. "You're excused miss taylor." I stand up and straighten out my skirt. "Thank you coach." I walk out of the room and take a deep breath.

I make my way down to the locker room as I see practice is pretty much over. No other girls are in here yet. Perfect. I quickly search my bag for a pen and write down my number on the napkin that Travis gave me. I fold it in half and change out of my outfit and into something more comfortable. I grab my bag and leave the room just as the rest of the girls are going in. I take a right turn instead of left to go to the player parking lot. I find Travis's car and tuck the napkin into the door handle and sneak out the gate and into the public parking. I get into my car and drive home.

Travis's POV

"Kelce! I'll see you in my office." Coach Reid yells at me when practice ends. Uh oh. That can't be good.
