8 PM, the sun is about to go down. I'm rushing home after helping another small village with the curse.

10 years ago, I left the jujutsu high to find out more about myself and my curse technique, which was hidden from me by the higher ups.

My technique is complicated. It's like skipping a tutorial in the game you never played, and then trying to press random buttons and guess which one would make a combo, an attack or defence. The only thing that I know, it has to do with the time.

My family clan had a history of cooperating with the strongest and deadliest curse user thousand years ago. But it has nothing to do with me.

"I'm so tired" I was trying to fix my ponytail as it was coming down after the fight I had not so long ago.

Suddenly, I saw a vision that two teenagers are in danger at the prison nearby.

Every time I get these warning visions, my eyes turn green, which also causes me extreme pain in the head.

I quickly made an 180 turn and ran towards the prison.

Upon my arrival, I saw the veil was already casted. Which meant that the sorcerers might already be at the scene. But visions don't come just because, it means that something really bad must have happened.

I entered the veil without hesitation and then felt the strong presence of a very powerful curse.

"Holy shit"

Even that made my stomach sick.
I started running towards the cursed energy, just to see two boys on the rooftop of the facility.

One of them was completely beaten up, dark blue hair, and a dark uniform?

The other one was covered in tattoos, shirtless and with pink hair.

I jumped in between them, trying to protect the guy laying on the floor. I reached for my katana, pushing the pink hair dude away couple of meters.

"Hey, haven't your mother taught you to pick on someone your own size?" I said with the laugh, but fight ready in case he attacks. I felt conflicted, since I felt the presence of more than two people.

The pink haired dude was just staring, and then started smiling creepily.

"After so many years..." he said as he stood up. "I missed that sense of energy" he started walking towards me.

I quickly grabbed the kid and rushed towards other end of the roof.

"Are you my fan? I don't even know who you are" I said while trying to locate where he is now.
While looking around, I heard him all over the roof.

"Right, I'm surprise you can't tell who I am. What's your name?"

"Y/N"

"I asked for you real last name"

How did he know? Who is that guy?

"Oh right, almost forgot, my name is Sukuna, but I will allow you to call me Ryoku" he started laughing again.

The realization hit me harder than the morning coffee. That's why he recognized my energy, all because of the history my clan had with him. This is serious now, no more jokes.

I was ready to summon my cursed energy, but what's the point if he knows it better than I do?
Suddenly, the guy behind me stood up, and leveled up with me.

"Buddy, I don't wanna seem rude, but I don't think it's a good idea for you to fight him. Please get out of here." I said calmly, trying to get him out of here.

"No, I'm not leaving him." he said through his teeth

"Itadori! I know you're in there!"

Itadori who?

"I'm not a hero like you, no..." the guy started mumbling some nonsense.

Did he hit his head or something? What is he talking about? Who is Itadori? This felt like a comedy scene, where my face looked confused at the maximum point.

Wait

The shift in the cursed energy changed. I quickly looked towards Sukuna, and saw the same body, but without the tattoos and with more blood coming out of his...wait, where is his heart?

I quickly rushed up towards so called Itadori.

"Don't die yet" I said while trying to bring out the maximum cursed energy out of me. I split my fingers and applied the reverse technique of time rewind.

Heart beat

"You're okay..." I quickly checked if he was actually breathing. "Hey, you, what's your name?"

"Megumi..." he said while trying to understand how Itadori is alive. "Huh, thank you." He said as he kneeled down during to exhaustion.

"Megumi, are you injured?" I asked to make sure.

"Just tired, but I'm fine, thanks to you."

"No problem, I'm happy I was here to help. Now tell me, why the hell two teenagers were here alone?" I said with the strict tone.

"I have the same question for the higher ups that have us this assignment" Megumi said annoyingly.

"Assignment?" That's when it hit me. The uniform. Jujutsu High uniform.

"And this guy...he's your friend? How did he manage to have the soul of Sukuna inside of him?"

"Long story.."

"I see... is he trust worthy? Or will he become Sukuna again once he wakes up?"

"No, he can control him, it's just...he wanted to sacrifice himself to protect me and another girl, Nobara."

"Wow I see." I said while Itadori was resting in my lap. Few seconds after, I saw same old Ichiji running towards us

"Oh no, are you guys okay??" He was running as the veil started to disappear.

"They are fine, but will need some medical attention to treat the bruises. And food, and lots of sleep." I said jokingly, while I took off my hood.

"Y/N!" He said surprisingly. "Thank god you're here! I was so scared when I found out what happened from Nobara!" He said while falling in his knees.

"Get them to safety please" I started walking away.

"Wait! Please come with us!" He almost cried begged me. Ew

"Listen, I'm not in the best relationship with the higher ups at the moment." I scratched my head with all the mess I caused them by trying to find the truth about my family and myself that they hid from me.

"Not within the Jujutsu walls" he said sincerely this time.

I stood there for a second. Memories of Suguru and Satoru flew through my mind. The way I left the Jujutsu, after Geto's betrayal and Gojo's selfishness. Maybe it's time to put the past behind?

"So, will you come with us?"

I just nodded back. I helped to lift Itadori off the ground, and made sure Megumi was able to walk without any support.

And now, I'm sitting in the car, going back to where it all started, my story.
