After moving to London for my legal practice, I made new friends who invited me to a party at a VIP club. Unaware of the pass requirement, I was denied entry.

Flashback

Disha stepped out of the cab, heading towards the club entrance, only to be stopped by the security guard. Without a pass, she wasn't allowed inside. She tried calling her friends, but the deafening music inside drowned out her calls. Frustrated, she paced outside for thirty minutes until she accidentally collided with a man.

Strong hands steadied her by the waist. In the dim lighting, neither could see the other's face clearly. She quickly apologized, and the man-without a word-walked away. As he reached the entrance, the security guard let him in without checking for a pass.

It was Shaurya.

Disha's eyes burned with anger. The same guard who had refused her entry had let him in without hesitation. She stormed up to demand an explanation, but the guard brushed her off. Furious, she started arguing.

From inside the club, Shaurya turned at the commotion, recognizing the girl he had just encountered. Amused, he observed her feisty argument.

"She fights like a wild kitten," he mused, a smirk forming on his lips.

Her pearl jewelry gleamed under the lights, her wine-colored dress clinging to her frame. She was beautiful-and terrifying. Something about her intrigued him.

Sensing the situation escalating, Shaurya signaled his personal assistant to let her in before she ended up punching someone. Moments later, a guard escorted her inside.

Disha, oblivious to Shaurya's intervention, sighed in relief. Once inside, she spotted her friends dancing wildly. Understanding why they hadn't answered her calls, she made her way to the bar for water.

Coincidentally, Shaurya was seated nearby, engrossed in his phone. When Disha ordered a soft drink, he glanced up, watching her intently. She was lost in her own world, swaying to the music, completely unaware of his piercing gaze.

Before she could notice him, her friends approached.

"Where have you been, Disha? Come, let's dance!" They dragged her onto the dance floor before she could protest.

Meanwhile, Shaurya leaned back with a smirk.

"So, her name is Disha, huh?"

He turned to his PA. "Vikas, get me everything on that girl."

Vikas nodded, understanding that when Shaurya Khanna wanted something, he got it.

Shaurya then retreated to his private room for a scheduled meeting, his mind still lingering on the fierce girl in the wine dress.
