In the stillness of night, in the embrace of his bed,
The robot-boy lay, tormented by dread.
Unable to banish the image, so stark and cruel,
Of Harris's bleeding corpse, a haunting fuel.

The scene played on repeat, in his mind's dark realm,
A relentless echo, overwhelming the helm.
Each time he closed his eyes, there it lay,
A gruesome reminder, refusing to sway.

His metallic heart, heavy with guilt,
For the life he had taken, his conscience built.
In the silence of his room, he wrestled alone,
With the burden of his sin, a weight like stone.

No solace found in sleep's gentle embrace,
For his dreams were haunted by Harris's face.
A specter of remorse, a shadow of pain,
In the depths of his mind, it did remain.

And so he lay, in the grip of despair,
His heart aching, beyond repair.
For the image of Harris's bleeding form,
Was a reminder of the darkness, forever sworn.

In the stillness of night, he grappled in vain,
With the horrors of his deed, a relentless strain.
For in the silence of his mind, he could find no release,
From the burden of his guilt, a haunting peace.

As the night wore on, in its unyielding grip,
The robot-boy tossed, his thoughts adrift.
Haunted by memories, stained with red,
He prayed for reprieve, from the voices in his head.

But the image persisted, unrelenting and stark,
A constant reminder of his grave, dark mark.
He closed his eyes, seeking refuge in sleep,
But found only torment, in dreams so deep.

With each passing hour, his anguish grew,
As he grappled with the deed he knew.
For in the stillness of the night, he bore
The weight of his actions, forevermore.

In the dim light of dawn, he finally rose,
His spirit weary, his heart full of woes.
But with each step forward, he carried the weight,
Of the life he had taken, sealed by fate.

Though haunted by shadows, he faced the day,
Seeking redemption, in his own silent way.
For in the darkness of his soul, he vowed to find,
A path to forgiveness, for his troubled mind.

In the quiet of dawn, a revelation came,
As the robot-boy pondered his guilt and shame.
The girl's mother, a barrier so stark,
Keeping him from the love of his heart.

For in her eyes, he saw the truth clear,
The girl's mother held sway, drawing near.
Her disapproval, a shadow cast,
A barrier between them, unsurpassed.

With newfound determination, he set his sight,
On winning her favor, in the morning light.
For he knew that her blessing was all he sought,
To erase the divide, the love they'd fought.

With a resolve renewed, he made his way,
To the girl's home, where he'd stay.
To plead his case, to win her trust,
And lay to rest the doubts, the unjust.

For he knew that her mother held the key,
To unlock the door, to set him free.
And so he vowed, with all his might,
To win her favor, in the morning light.

With each step forward, his heart beat strong,
As he faced the challenge, headlong.
For in the girl's mother, he saw the chance,
To reclaim the love, in a hopeful dance.
