THE WEEKEND WAS both Eleanor's favourite and least favourite part of the week. She enjoyed the freedom it gave her ( especially with Umbridge's newly in-forced rules ) but somewhat disliked getting her hand mutilated by a magical quill. Her new role in the gryffindor quidditch team had done wonders for brightening up her mood after a long morning of detention ( and pain ) as her practices usually started an hour after she escaped the despicable professor in pink.

It was said quidditch practices that Eleanor was heading up to her dorm to get ready for when she was stopped by the same person she had ran way from the evening before. Cringing slightly at the memory of her awkward and extremely suspicious disappearance, the Jones' girl considered bolting up the stairs and waiting in her dorm until Gwen had left.

Despite this extremely tempting idea, Eleanor stood still and greeted Gwen with an awkward smile. She truly liked Gwen and didn't want to lose her friendship because of one stupid interaction they'd had.

"Eleanor!" Gwen chirped as she stood up from the couch and approached Eleanor, "I'm glad I caught you, I have something for you."
