A man with brown hair and long nails, types away at his keyboard. A door opens behind him as a boy walks out with a hoodie covering him. He walks towards the kitchen and grabs a pack of ramen out the cabinet. The man stops typing and glances over to the boy. He sighs and presses the enter key. He looks again and the boy is now boiling a pot with water. "Make sure you eat it all this time Khao" he says as he shuts his laptop off. "I just finished filling out applications." He says as he gets up. Khao looks back at him and smiles. "honestly finding a job is harder than I thought!" Khao laughs "Fa you're always stressing". The man named Fa rolls his eyes. "one of us has too or we both be homeless" they both laugh. Fa goes towards the bathroom holding his phone. "I gotta shower," Khao nods in response. Fa steps into the bathroom and sees a notification pop up.

Fa looks at it for a moment then presses it. Once he opens it he is ment with an old face. Someone who he used to know in the industry. Before everything went downhill.

I do instead know a position that's better suited for you. It's a flexible job and will help enhance your career. But I am also reaching out for a different reason. You know I am not a person to do this and at most not one for emails. Although this message is a friend to friend. So please call me at [number].

Fa felt nervous reading the message but he was in dire need of a job. It's been 2 years since Khao was proven innocent of all allegations. His ex-girlfriend Sea had thrown his way. She could not handle the fact that Khao fell out of love. Instead of letting it go easy like Khao wanted she made a whole show. Not only did she ruin Khao pending projects but also everyone around him. Unlike Fa , Khao never hated anyone who turned their backs on him. But the pain was already gone. People took sides and attacked Khao since he was a promising actor. The haters he had so little of appeared with an army. And the ones who held the door for him were then shutting them. He had to apologize for something he didn't do. He had to abandon projects he truly wanted and worked for. He disappeared from the cameras and fought for his innocence. He was later proven to be innocent. But the damage was too big, he lost everything he built. The people who turned their backs tried to turn towards him but he was already gone. The haters stayed but the fans grew. Many still have groups dedicated to him. There are essentially fans who still support an old ship he was a part of. But it's all in the past, it's time for change. Fa dialed the number and took a deep breath.

"Hello?"

Fa: Hello this is -

"Fa! So glad you got my message!"

Fa: 555+ of course-

"I've been waiting for this. Give me a moment, I am just getting my lunch."

Fa: Okay I understand.

"How have you been?"

Fa: fine and you?

"I've been hell of busy, I'll tell you that much!"

Fa: 555 I mean you are a script writer

"I know I know"

Fa: oh so um that job you were talking about?

"Ah! Sorry haha I forgot , you know my mind is running at 100 mph"

Fa: yes

"Okay so there is an opening in our department!"

Fa: WAIT WHAT!

"Yep you heard me. There is an opening since one of us was fired."

Fa: I can't believe it but you know the chief -

"Yea! About that .."

Fa: ..

"You're still in contact with Khaotung?"

Fa: why.

"Chief will give you the job but on a condition."

Fa: what's the -

"You get Khaotung to come back into the acting world as the lead of our new bl"

Fa: ..

"Look Fa I know you might not want this but Khaotung is perfect for our project and he's already cleared from all the allegations. Honestly speaking the book writer asked for him and someone personally but you know we're not that close and they had a project so they can't work on this but Khaotung isn't!"

Fa: but..

"I read your letter on your application, your in need of money and I'm not asking for Khaotung to get naked in front of me but instead to come back into acting even if it's just for this one show."

Fa:..

"The conditions aren't over the top and I feel like we could both benefit."

Fa: I have-

"Just please text me if you change your mind. I have till tonight to make things official."

Fa: yes

"Thank you Fa and I know you know what to do."

Fa places his phone down and looks at his reflection. He gulps and looks at the bathroom door. He opens it and calls out to Khao. Who's eating some ramen while watching a video. He walks up to the door and Fa looks at his eyes. "I um.. found us a job.." Khao smiles. "But it's um.." Khao slowly realizes with his friend is trying to say. "Look, we don't have to take it. It's not like we can't find one .. we could um work at -". Khao looks at his friend's eyes and knows this is the only job they got at the moment. "Fine .." he says. Fa eyes widen "it's not permanent of course!" He says trying to reassure Khao. But Khao just nods. Khao walks back towards the table. Fa was about to close the bathroom door but stopped. "Khao" he turns around and looks at him. "If things get too personal.. we can end it right then and there, you know I'm here" both look at each other. "I know. That's why I'm doing this". Fa smiles "thank you Khao". He slowly shuts the door as the boy turns towards the table again. Fa looks back at his reflection and then the phone. He takes a deep breath and opens his inbox.
