In the stillness of the night, with shadows deep and wide,
The girl lay in her bed, her heart heavy with a tide.
Regret washed over her, in waves of sorrow and pain,
As she grappled with the guilt, a burden hard to feign.

For in sending the boy to his ultimate fate,
She had sealed his destiny, with a twist of cruel hate.
The weight of her actions, a burden too great to bear,
As she lay in her bed, consumed by despair.

With each passing moment, her remorse grew,
As she replayed the events, her conscience askew.
For though she had acted in anger, in a moment of spite,
She now faced the consequences, in the dead of night.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, in rivers of regret,
As she begged for forgiveness, from a fate she couldn't forget.
For the boy's death weighed heavy on her soul,
A wound that would never heal, a gaping hole.

In the silence of her room, she whispered a prayer,
For redemption and forgiveness, in the darkness there.
But deep down she knew, it was a burden she must bear,
For the boy's death would haunt her, forever and always, with a despairing glare.

As the night wore on, her thoughts grew dark,
Wishing she could turn back time, embark
On a different path, one without Harris near,
To erase the choices that now filled her with fear.

If only she had never crossed paths with him,
Never let him into her life, her world so grim.
For every moment spent with him now felt tainted,
A reminder of the pain and sorrow she'd painted.

She longed for a chance to undo the past,
To make different choices, to ensure they'd last
In a world where regret didn't weigh so heavy,
Where her heart wasn't burdened, her spirit unsteady.

But alas, the past was set in stone,
A tapestry of choices, regrets, and bemoan.
And though she wished for a different reality,
She knew she had to face the consequences, with finality.

In the quiet of her room, she wept silent tears,
For the innocence lost, the love turned to fears.
If only she could turn back time, she cried,
But in the darkness of night, her regrets abide.
