Chapter seven: the party

Lux's POV:

This party caused so much stress and tension that I just wanted to get it over with.

During the last few days, I only focused on rehearsing for it with my band while also making new content for tiktok and avoided all kinds of tension.

I sighed when I looked at my reflection from the mirror.

The outfit Regina bought me was pretty but it was kinda giving mafia bride. I didn't feel comfortable to perform in it but Regina would probably be pissed off, if I didn't wear it.

I didn't even understand why she picked the outfit for me. Sure she wanted to help me but it felt like she wanted to control everything about me even how I present myself, which was something I never asked her to do.

The doorbell to my house rang and I took a deep breath before walking downstairs to open it.

I smiled warmly when I saw that it was Cady.

"Woah I didn't expect you to wear such a dress, don't get me wrong, it's pretty... But it's unlike everything you usually wear", she said in surprise and I sighed.

"Regina chose it for me", I said and she nodded understanding.

"That makes sense. Now come on, Aaron is waiting in the car", Cady said and I followed her towards the car.

"Hey Lux, I'm Aaron, Cady's boyfriend", the boy said and I smiled politely.

"Nice to meet you", I replied and he started driving to the party.

As soon as we arrived, the party was already quite full. When we walked inside the mansion, I immediately started looking for Jill and Alex.

Cady walked after me while holding hands with Aaron, probably because of her promise to Janis to look after me.

I struggled to make my way through the crowd but luckily I found them quickly since they were already preparing the instruments at the place we would play at.

Jill smiled in excitement when she saw me.

"This mansion is amazing! Regina really is very rich and hot all at the same time. Do you think I have a chance? I mean she said that she likes what she likes so maybe she is into girls", Jill asked me and I shrugged.

"I'm not really sure, she could've said that to appeal to us since we are all queer", I said and she nodded.

"Well I hope you're wrong because I'm down bad for her. She could step on me and I would thank her", she said and usually I would laugh at her thirst comments but when it was towards Regina, I couldn't stop myself from feeling worried.

There was something about Regina that I simply didn't trust and I didn't want Jill to get hurt.

"By the way what is this outfit? It looks hot but how are you going to perform in it without your boobs falling out?", Alex suddenly asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Complain to Regina, she wanted me to wear this", I said and Jill raised her eyebrow.

"Why?", she asked, sounding slightly jealous.

"Because she kinda acts like my manager after she asked me to play at her party", I said and she nodded but she remained suspicious.

"Lux! You're finally here, thank god this party is such a bore so far", Regina suddenly said and my eyes widened when I saw her outfit.

Her outfit was even more revealing than mine and I could tell that Jill enjoyed the view a lot.

"Don't worry, we will start playing soon", I assured Regina and she put her arm around me.
