Keegan x roommate reader one-shot

My scary lil roomate

***Keegan and Y/n are roommates.. Keegan is calm one but Y/n is aggressive...***

**Keegan is talking with someone, and Y/n is behind him because Y/n is bored.. The person who Keegan talked to seems a little horrified by Y/n**

*Keegan noticed it.. He chuckles*
Keegan:"Don't worry, she doesn't bite.."
*Keegan pats Y/n head*

"I do bite, just don't bite you," I tell hkm with a smirk on my face.

**Keegan chuckles more**

*Keegan stops talking with the person*

Keegan:"Can you please stop? You are scaring the person.."

"Fineeeee," I say sarcastically

**There is a knock on the door..**

Keegan:"Oh great! It's probably that guy from apartment management.. Now I have to talk to him with you behind me.."

I smile, trying to smile nicely.

**They both open the door, and the guy from the apartment management is standing there.. He seems nervous..**

Man from the apartment management:"Hi there.. Can I talk to you guys for a minute.."

"Of course, " I answer before keegan can. I smirk while looking at the management guy

**The management guy's eyes are glued to you.. He is a little freaked out by you.. Keegan notices it and rolls his eyes**

Management guy:"I just wanted to let you know that you have to pay rent in a couple of days.."

Keegan:"We know! Please leave now.. And stop looking at my roommate.. She can be a little off-putting.."

**Keegan pulls you back and tries to close the door**

*But the guy is still standing on the doorframe..*

Management guy:"But your roommate... Her eyes.. They are.."

"They are what," I say, glaring at the guy

*The guy seems more unnerved*

Management guy:"Her eyes are.. They're just.. Just please leave now.. We don't need any longer discussion..."

"No, what are they?" I say angrily, moving closer to the guy.

**Keegan grabs your arm and tries to pull you back into the house**

*The guy seems extremely scared by you now*

Management guy:"Her eyes look.. Creepy..."

"OK fuck you, you piece of shitty bitch" I say to the management guy while I glare as hard as I could.

*After that, the management guy finally leaves.. He looks extremely shaken up by you.*

**Keegan sighs**

Keegan:"Now you know why no one wants to talk to you.. You just freak them out.."

"Hey, he was mean first. I even tried to be nice and smile this time," I say, kinda sad

**Keegan rolls his eyes but stops to look at you**

Keegan:"You smile was definitely very creepy.. He wasn't wrong about that.. Can you stop looking like you're about to kill someone and try to smile normally?"

" I tried my best, ok?" I say quietly, turning my head and leaving to go to my room

**Keegan sighs and follows you to your room.. He stops outside your room**

Keegan:"Yeah, I know.. It's hard for you to act normal in front of others.. And when you do try to act normal, you do a shitty job.."

I stay silent and lay on my bed.

After realizing he wasn't going to leave on his own, I mumble into my pillow, "Can you just leave me alone and close the door behind you?"

**Keegan rolls his eyes again but he knows he has to follow your orders because he is your roommate.. He grumbles but closes the door to your room behind him**

Hoping that keegan has actually left, I finally let the tears fall. I was really trying this time. I actually tried to be nice.

Keegan didn't leave completely, infact he was standing outside the door

**Keegan's heart softens when he hears your cries.. He opens the door again and slowly walks into your room**

Keegan:"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," I say, trying to soften and hide  my cries.

**Keegan's heart softens even more**

Keegan:"Do you promise? And don't try to act strong in front of me because you're not that good at acting.. I can hear you're still crying.."

"I'm fine, Keegan," I say as a loud sob excepted my mouth

**Keegan doesn't believe you.. He walks over and sits next to you**

Keegan:"Y/n, look at me.. You can cry in front of me.. You don't have to pretend to be strong around me.. Just please don't lie to me.."

I stay silent as i hug him and cry further into his chest.

"I really tried this t-t-ime, I r-eal-lly di-d"

**Keegan holds you and wipes your tears away**

Keegan:"I know, I know.. It's okay.. You're trying and that matters.."

**There is a long pause as Keegan rubs your back and pats your head.. He smiles at you**

Keegan:"Why did you try so hard anyways? You're usually pretty aggressive and scary around other people. Why did you try to act normal?"

"Be-caus-se you dont-t seem to-o lik-e it w-when I'm li-ike tha-at" I say quietly he almost couldn't hear it.

**Keegan smiles at you**

Keegan:"That's.. Actually, pretty sweet.. Can I tell you something..?"

I mumble a small "Y-yea,"

**Keegan pulls you closer to him**

Keegan:"I don't mind when you're aggressive.. I think it's cute.. You're always so passionate and fiery.. And it's pretty hot.. But it's nice to see you trying to be normal.. I actually wish we could have more moments like this.."

"I'm sorry I'm not normal," I say sadly. "I like hugging you," I say softly

**Keegan smiles**

Keegan:"Well.. I like hugging you too.. And it's okay if you're not normal.. That's what makes you so unique and interesting.. And I love that about you.. Now let's just hug for a little bit longer.. And maybe even snuggle.."

"I'd like that," I say sleepily

**Keegan smiles and pulls you closer. **

Keegan:"Let's snuggle then, and have a little nap together.."
