Hey, it's Flame. I'm the author of this monstrosity that you're about to read. Now, before we begin, there's a few things that you should know. I'll number them for your convenience. No need to go into extreme detail about this.
1. While I am in fact a fan of SAO, I'm not that massive of a fan. I watched the anime, but I didn't watch past the first season. I also haven't read the manga. I'll probably only pick it up to find details about floors and characters.
2. As most SAO fanfics go, I'm going to stray away from the source material by quite a bit. I'm not just introducing one new character, I'm changing the entire structure of the plot. Some major parts of the plot will be skipped entirely in favor of new things I've created.
3. Things are going to get dark. With as much humor I plan on shoving into this thing, you know I had to balance it out with some good ol' fashioned shattered pixels.
Yeah, people are going to die. Not the 5 main characters though, I'm not that cruel. But still, don't get too attached to any of the side characters. Chances are, they won't last very long.
4. Ratings? I'd say probably 16+. There's going to be cursing, there's going to be sexual humor (no sex tho, they're minors), and, as promised, there's going to be death. Keep this one away from the children.
5. As for an upload schedule, I don't know yet. I'm pretty busy IRL right now, and I don't even know if people are going to like the shit I'll be spewing out. I have real world responsibilities, and those will always take precedence over this. Don't go begging in the comments for more, I'm probably trying my best.
6. This is also my first real attempt at writing a fanfiction in several years, so, I apologize if it's a little sloppy. I'll probably go back and fix up the older chapters at a later date.
7. Finally, and very stereotypically, I DON'T OWN SWORD ART ONLINE! Please go and support the original creators! If I did own SAO, I wouldn't be writing this right now!
