Over the next few months, Delphine and Rosalie watched in dread as Edward only grew closer to his human obsession.

One morning, Delphi stood with Emmett and Rosalie, happily talking with the latter about their plans for the following weekend

She glanced up as she heard one of Bella's friends mutter "Oh... My... God"

Delphine did a double take as she saw her brother and Bella. Edward walked confidently with his arm slung over Bella's shoulder, occasionally glancing at us. Delphine couldn't help but roll her eyes at her brothers dramatic tendencies

"At least we know it's genetic" Emmett commented as he watched Edward's show for all onlookers "You're both dramatic as hell"

Delphine smacked Emmetts head before making her way into the school, absolutely fuming at the event she had just witnessed

"I'm not mad that you're with her. I'm mad because she's a awkward ass human who looks like she can't even get a sentence out properly"

Edward paced around his room as he listened to his sister's rambling, trying to ignore the hurtful comments she had said towards Bella.

"Look, it just seems like you don't really match. You can't even breather around her.... LITERALLY. Her blood is so intoxicating to you, it just doesn't seem healthy" Delphi stood and approached her brother, gently taking his hand "I won't say anything If you choose to continue this relationship, but i just don't think it's in your best interest"

Edward nodded and held his sister's hand in between both of his "I understand your concern, but at least give her a chance. I want to invite her to visit the family this weekend, you can come with me and meet her"

Delphine sighed at her brothers attempt to help the two bond, but nodded "Sure, I'll go with you"

Edward embraced her with a smile "Thank you"

"You owe me" she grumbled back in reply.

Delphine watches as Edward jumps onto the top of Bella's truck, before jumping after him. The human girl jumps as she stares at the two landing in front of her, having been in the middle of washing her truck with them previously.

"Could you act human? I mean I've got neighbors" Bella jokingly complained as she continued to clean

"Not in our nature" I tell her with a smirk "I'm Delphine, Edwards sister"

Bella's face went bright red as she said softly "Hello". She clearly wasn't expecting company that day while her boyfriend visits.

I chuckled at the girl's reply, and Edward changed the subject bluntly " I'm gonna take you to my place tomorrow."

He abruptly reaches his hand under the side of Bella's truck, pulling out a large dent. Bella responded to this with a quick "Thanks" before seeming to recognize what he said fully "uh, wait, like with your family?"

"Yeah" Edward simply replied

"What if they don't like me?" Bella worried aloud as she put her sponge down to look at the two vampires. Delphine watched her, confused.

"So you're worried…not because you'll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won't approve of you?" I asked, very amused at her behavior as Edward began to laugh

"I'm glad I amuse you two" Bella muttered. A car coming down the street interrupted them, and both Edward and Delphine looked up, then at each other

"What is it?" Bella asked, clearly not hearing the car yet
