She was holding a baby. She did not have a baby. The child had the same dark blue eyes as her own. They also shared the same hair color. The infant's eyes suddenly changed to a piercing light blue like ice, then they changed back.

She was falling into darkness, the child was gone. Then she was standing in a field, nothing made a sound. There was a heaviness to the night air, as if something tragic had happened and the wind was mournful. The night sky was covered by clouds, but there was just enough light to see. She regretted looking at the ground. It was littered with bodies. the bodies of her friends, her cohort, the entire army, all of them dead. Humans had were not the only ones who had died there, a few of the bodies were trolls. Suddenly the ground swallowed her up.

Falling again, falling through blackness. She was then standing in the same field, with two swords in her hands. There were more dead bodies but unlike before these were not human, they were trolls. All of them, dead. She somehow knew that she had killed them all. As the sun was rising she could see a crowd at the edge of the pile of bodies. It was the army.

Falling again in that now familiar darkness. She was know standing in a different field, she dreaded what she would see, for so far everything was full of death. She looked around and was sickened. She was holding twin blades and around her were the bodies of her fellow warriors dead, again. But this time it was different. Her swords were dripping with human blood and instead of seeing crushed bodies they were sliced. She knew that she had killed them all. But how? And why? What possible reason could she have for killing her friends? As she was standing she became aware of a man clad in black standing behind her. He was laughing, laughing amid all this slaughter at the night sky in triumph.

She was falling yet again. She wished that this nightmare would end, she did not want to see anymore death. She was standing again. This time there was only one body, the man in black. He was dead impaled by her swords. The sun was rising over the capital and the ground swallowed her. Sofia woke with a start still feeling like she was falling.
