Chapter 3 - Story of Optic Act I: The Ambitions of the Two Swordsmen!

(Shells Town - Dock)

Mattel arrives in the dock of Shells Town, giving his heavy sigh and reverting from his Feral Dragon form to his normal self. He unties his ropes from the waist and places it over on the top of one of the small barrels. He hopped out of the boat, tying the rope around the pole.

"Shells Town. That's mean it has the Marine's outpost, I gotta blend in." Mattel said.

Mattel sees another boat on the other side of the dock. "Whose boat is this? Never mind."

"Hey! Mattel!" He heard a voice and turned his head to the small boat, seeing Luffy who had grown up after past ten years along with another boy with pink hair and glasses.

"Luffy!" Mattel happily replied. "You're here!"

Luffy chuckled loudly as he rowed the boat speedily towards the dock, jumping out of it and hugged him.

"Oh man! I can't believe you came here on the island!" Luffy exclaimed. "We haven't seen each other!"

"Sure we did, Luffy." Mattel hugged him back. "So, I hear that you are trying to find the crew member."

"Uh-huh!" Luffy nodded.

A small boy jumped to the dock and walked up right to him. "Is that Mattel? The one you are talking about?"

"Yup. That's him. He's my friend who I met him in my hometown!" Luffy answered. "Mattel, I want you to meet Coby."

"Hello, Coby." Mattel said politely.

"I am very pleased to meet you. Besides, I'm not part of Luffy's crew. I just wanted to become a marine!" Coby explained.

"The marines? I guess someone who has a dream to be the Navy soldier." Mattel replied before turned to Luffy. "Where did you get him from?"

"Coby used to work with Alvida as a cabin boy, so I saved him. He doesn't like the other pirates." Luffy said.

"I see. When did that happen?" Mattel asked.

"I got myself in the pirate crew by accident." Coby told him.

"Oh, poor kid. I guess you have been rough, right?" Mattel asked.

"I know but thanks to Luffy."

"At least we're here! The Marine Base City!" Luffy beamed.

"I have to warn you, Luffy! Since we are the pirates, we better blend in as the normal people or the marines will come after us if we messed the things up." Mattel said.

"Sure do!" Luffy chuckled as Mattel sighed in irritation.

"Same old Luffy."

"Luffy said he's going to recruit one of the pirate swordsmen from the marine base, Roronoa Zoro the Pirate Hunter." Coby explained.

"Zoro? Interesting. Luffy, are you truly want that Pirate Hunter to join in your crew?" Mattel said, making Coby peeving and quivering in annoyance and fear.

"Yup! He's the best one!" Luffy yelled. "Let's go!"

(Shells Town – Center)

Luffy, Mattel and Coby walked into the center of the town.

"Luffy, seriously, you're out of your mind if you think the right thing to do is get this guy to join you!" Coby exclaimed in concern.

"Well, I haven't made up of my mind yet." Luffy assured before asking Mattel. "What about you, finding the crewmate in this town?"
