Oh my god ' I heard mom shout and my heart almost jumped out of my chest,I raced downstairs to check what was going on only to see mom and dad smiling and hugging each
What's going on here, i asked my parents
Mom hugged me and said
'i am so proud of you dear
Now I am confused
'what for ' i asked,then mom said
'take a look at your laptop,you have a message on your email,
'Ok' I said as I opened my email just to see this
Dear bailey Anderson,you have been accepted at Hamilton Academy on full scholarship,and we are looking forward to seeing you before next week,so you would be able to catch up for what you have missed the past week,we wish you great success in your years of studying at Hamilton Academy.
After reading it my mouth was left open as tears trickled down my face,I felt different emotions run through me, Hamilton Academy as always been my dream school but I knew I couldn't attend the school because only rich and elegant people went there and my parents weren't rich and trust me getting a scholarship was very hard,when I applied for the scholarship it was just for fun and I never thought that I would really get it.
'aren't you happy dear'' father asked me
'of course I am dad' I replied
'i am so happy for you dear ' mom said and I hugged her,
'now go to your room and start packing, you will be going the day after tomorrow' dad said and I nodded and went up to my room to start packing 'oh I am so excited 'i said to myself as I entered my small room.
