A geniuses exciting life (male reader x Marinette)

Prologue - Everyones journey starts somewhere.

Hello there. =)

I've recently watched Miraculous Ladybug, and also started reading some fanfics of the show.
That's when I noticed a lack of male reader x Marinette storys. Or maybe I didn't search thoroughly enough, idk.
So I've just got to season 2, and that's where I've decided I'm gonna try my shot at writing and see what comes out.
(I welcome recommendations. ;D)

This is more of a boredom killer for me, and a way to better my English skills. That's why I'd be thankful if you could, when you notice an error in my writing, notify me. At the end of the day it will just make me better at writing!

This story is also inspired by the story "Miraculous Ladybug: Marinette x Male Reader" which is written by Glitch_Writer.
I thought the story was cool, so you should check it out!

But let's not beat around the bush any longer, I'll start the story now.
Just so you know, I'll age everyone up to 16 at least. No real reason not to. The age of consent in france is 15 btw.
I haven't planned anything, but just in case. ; )

3rd POV

This is the story of a young teenager called Y/N L/N.

He was different since he was little. Always an outsider. But he was never really bothered by it, enjoying the peace away from the loud kids. That changed when he entered school, however. His solitary nature, and the excellent grades he got since the start of school, made him easy to pick on. The first year of school was through and through, in his words, annoying.
So he changed his approach. His grades suddenly dropped, becoming average. He also befriended some of the boys in his class to not stand out anymore. With that he was a completely average student, with no real reason to get targeted by bully's.

But that was just the start of what he did!

He started to build stuff out of electronics his parents didn't need anymore, which exceeded anything a mere child could do.
He also wouldn't buy stuff with the pocket money he gained, instead he invented an AI that would scan the stock market, invest that money, and get profit that way. Let's just say it didn't take long before he wouldn't need to worry about money.
And last but not least, he stayed under the radar doing all that. Only his parents know about his inventions, but after the first few they just accepted everything that their child did and simply supported him on it.

There were also a BUNCH of other things that he did, but it would take too long to explain everything.
(Yes, there was a phase where he watched Phineas and Ferb in which he called all his inventions an "inator".
Luckily that's over.)

Then, one fateful day, Y/N watched the news. And there it was. Superheroes in Paris! And supervillains too!
This peaked a new kind of curiosity in the boy, one that would make him want to go to Paris and figure out how these heroes were able to gain real superpowers!
After all, all that seemed to go against a multitude of scientific facts, and the young inventor wanted to get to the bottom of it.
How were people able to be akumatized? Why does the yo-yo of Ladybug capture those butterflies and "de evilize" them? How does Cat Noirs cataclysm work? How is Ladybugs miraculous able to REBUILD THE ENTIRE EIFFEL TOWER?!

His parents, as supportive as they were, supported him even on this journey. Because they were happy with the life they have, and liked their work, they weren't really able to go to Paris together with Y/N. But they managed to get him into Françoise Dupont Middle School (It's called College in French, apparently) and got him a house not so far from it too.
