Nora's POV
Life sucks.
When I first heard I'm a witch I was on cloud nine. But now. I'm still happy but, these assignments they give is just too much. There's gonna be a game conducted in this school.
Why not let the kids get some peace.
The most worst of all is potions and transfiguration. The names are just so hard to memorize. But I can't say I'm not enjoying everyday here with my friends.
I was on my way to the great hall. It's 7 o'clock and dinner would have started by now. I was a bit caught up with my transfiguration assignment.
I entered the great hall and saw that only Olivia and Ainsley were there. I'm getting along quite well with her now that I have more classes with her.
It's sorta funny to think that I got all possessive of Ainsley because of her and Andrea. I and Andrea don't talk that much tho.
"Hey girls" I joined them in the Ravenclaw table and I was greeted by a giggly Ainsley. "Wassup with her?" I asked Olivia. "She has her date with Cyno this Saturday" the witch replied.
"Ohh. Good for you." I smiled at her. Through out the dinner, she was having a giddy smile on her face. She was prolly acting like this since Cyno wasn't around.
Soon, Iris joined us. "Hey guys" she greeted as she took the seat next to mine. "Hey, what took you so long?" Ainsley asked her. "Potions assignment"
"Gawd, it's fucking nightmare" Olivia complained. "Tell me about it" I commented and we started gossiping, sitting in the middle of the whole school.
Well, they couldn't care less.
And I remember something. Theo had no clue if Iris had any interest in him and doesn't want things to get awkward between them after he confessed.
That's why, me being the good friend I am, insisted on asking her about it. I knew she liked him but just wanted to conform it for him.
"Soo.. Lets talk about ourselves. Who are y'all seeing rn?" I asked. "Olivia?"
She looked surprised that the question was directed to her. "Well.. not anyone rn."
"Hmm.. Well we all know who you're seeing" I looked at Ainsley. "What about you? Iris?" I asked. "I think I've told you before"
"What? What are you guys talking about? There's a guy Iris like?" Ainsley asked surprised and a bit of disappointment laced in her voice.
"Well, it's Theo" Iris muttered and took another bite of her food. " how is it going?"
"wdym how is it going?" she asked. "Is there any improvement?" I asked. "Improvement in what?"
"Nevermind"
"What? Tell me!"
"Leave it alone hun. No big deal" I replied. "Sure" she muttered again and took yet another bite of her food.
We were soon joined by Theo, Louis, Draco and Blaise. There was some awkward tension between Ainsley and Draco which we all decided to ignore.
"Why the fuck is Potions so tough?" Theo exclaimed. "Ikr?!" I joined him. "I mean why the heck does it have weird names to memorize?"
"I can help you if you want" Draco insisted. "Oh that'd be great! Thank you" I thanked. Blaise had an offened look on.
"Dude! I've been asking you to help me with that shit for like hours and you said you had better things to do but- son of a-" Before he could complete what he was saying he hissed in pain and shut his mouth.
