His Girlfriend?

"Didn't he tell you that, he is married?" I remarked maintaining my tone respectfully, and kept my gaze sternly at her.

"You- how dare you speak to me like that?" she yelled, leaving me in annoyance.

Ya Allah, grant me strength to bear this. You know I hate chaos, especially useless ones.

"Dare to speak like how? I didn't even raise my voice." I said, sighing by her behaviour. I turned around to get rid of her due to irritation, i hate chaos. Not really.

Until

In a sudden burst of aggression, the woman shoved me hard, leading me to stumble to the ground. My heart raced as i lost balance, ahh-I cried out in pain as i twisted my ankle badly, a sharp ache radiating through my foot along with some bruises that left scars.

I began to have flashbacks, the moments I felt broken.

Just like today, what if she isn't lying? Is she really his girlfriend? No. I wish I'm assuming wrong things.

Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by a flood of memories that sent chills down my spine. I could still feel the sting of Mrs. Gabriel's hot rod searing against my back, leaving marks that went far deeper than the skin. Chuckles of Mr. Gabriel and Sofia echoed in my ears, All those gripped my heart with fear.

It all made sense now, this is what I deserve. The pain.

It was written for me, and i can't change my destiny ever. Even he will soon wish to get rid of me like everyone else did, I felt trapped in a world that never wanted me.

Will he ever began to love me, or our this sudden marriage will work or not? I thought to myself, remembering Mrs. Gabriel words no one will ever love you, no one. I flinched.

I'm not made for loving, that's why everyone I loved vanished in a blink.

I can never love, or deserve love.

Allah, i won't ask why.

Just please, only you know the good or bad for me, guide my life to the right path, put my heart at ease.

Stepping out of my thoughts, I glanced at the women standing right in front of me, I wasn't able to decide what to do? Should I call him? No.

"You better watch yourself; you have no idea what you're getting into," she spat and glared at me, With that, she turned on her heel, as she strode toward the exit, flipping her hair back dramatically.

"This is what I should say for you," I stated, leaving a chuckle form on my lips. "Take care"

I whined in pain seeing my sprained ankle, then shifted my weight from one foot to the other, Longing for relief.

"Saans leti ni hu key, fir kuch ho jaata hain.." I cried out pouting my lips, feeling discomfort ran over me.

Suddenly, Amelia came in, noticing me on the ground with fractured feet, she quickly rushed over to help and guided me to the couch. She handed me the first aid and made an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but i urgently need to pick up my daughter from her school, She fell off the stairs" she explained, and I nodded to her.

"Nah, I'm actually alright-You should hurry up, and also buy her chocolates on me" I said, allowing her to go.

Amelia left, and i tried to relax, but soon my ankle started to ache again. I shifted restlessly, hoping the pain would fade, but it only got worse.

Just then, I heard anonymous footsteps approaching, and my heart lifted with fear.
