Micahs POV:

I had a huge huge HUGE ass surprise for Skylar. I was home...I was back in our home city, Los Angeles, and I was going to the same school as her again, just like when we were younger. I was beyond excited. It'd been 3 years since I had actually seen her in person, and I was so excited to see her again.

I got to school early on purpose so I could be there before her so she could get there and find me, and I got into the school and asked her friend Madison where Sky's locker was so I could wait there for her and she told me so I walked over to her locker and stood there waiting for Skylar to get here.

I waited for only about 10 minutes until I saw her walk in... I knew it was her. Her golden blonde hair shimmering in the sunlight ever so slightly, her emerald green eyes just as beautiful as I remembered...my heart felt warm for the first time in a while as I saw her and a bright smile grew on my face as I wait for her to notice me.

Skylars POV:

I walk into school and start to make my way to my locker like I usually would though I felt a bit nervous since it was my first day of 11th grade and I really didn't know what to expect. My worries instantly fade as I see someone I thought I'd never ever see again waiting at my locker...it was Micah...my heart instantly felt warm as I saw him. He looked almost the same as when he left, except he was much taller and stronger looking now, but he still had the same cute freckles on his cheeks and the same bright blue eyes that I could get lost in. I instantly started running towards him, my eyes filled with tears. Not sad tears but tears of pure joy and happiness.

Once I reached him, I instantly hugged him, clinging onto him as tight as I possibly could with a bright smile on my face and tears streaming down my cheeks. I heard a slight chuckle escape his lips as he smiled and said, "Hey Skylar," his voice sounding soft and warm but a tad bit deeper than I remember as I feel his arms wrap around my torso as he hugged me back resting his head on my shoulder.

We stay hugging like this for a while before I pull back, laughing slightly, and I wipe my tears and say "sorry I...I've just missed you so much...I thought I was never going to see you again" I say to him in a soft but extremely happy sounding voice. He smiles and says, "No need to apologize, Sky. I understand. I've missed you more than anything, " he says in a soft and warm voice, making me feel a lot better.

I clear my throat slightly and say, "Wait..what are you doing back here anyway? I never thought you'd come back.." I say in a soft but slightly curious voice, and he keeps his soft smile on his face as he says "oh...well honestly I thought I wasn't coming back... but long story short, all of the family shit that was going on got resolved so my family and I were able to come back home." He explains with a soft sounding voice.

I slowly nodded, letting his words soak into my brain, and I understood what he told me. I say, "Ahh, that makes sense... I'm really glad you're back, though...I've missed you so much," I respond in a soft voice as I lean close and wrap my arms around his torso hugging him again and he smiles and hugs me back gently and says "yea...I'm glad to be back" he responds softly. We stay hugging like this for a bit before he pulls away, and we start to walk to class as he says "so...how's life been in Los Angeles without me?" He asks softly as he walks next to me. I smile, and I give him a long answer.

I tell him things have been good. I tell him all about how things have been with my mom and my brother and how I've been and anything new going on in my life. Nothing much had changed for me since he left, but I was curious because he seemed like he changed a lot, so once I was done answering him, I asked, "so...not to be rude but you seem like you've changed since you've been gone...mentally and physically...sorry if that's rude I'm just curious."

He chuckles softly and says, "That's not rude Sky don't worry... you're right, though I have changed a lot. I've had some crazy experiences back at my other school and the town that my family and I lived in for a while... To say the least, I got into some trouble... but at least I'm more mature now. And physically, I've really just gotten taller... and stronger considering I've been working out a bit, " he responds softly as he shrugs his shoulders a bit.

I tilt my head slightly in curiosity as he speaks, and I laugh as he says he got into trouble the past 3 years he'd been away as I honestly wasn't surprised. He'd always been a troublemaker, and it was clear things hadn't changed. I continue to chat with him until we eventually reach class, and we head inside.

We both take our seats at desks next to each other and sat in silence as we waited for class to start...god how I missed him...his laugh, his voice, his smile, his eyes, I missed every little thing about him and I was beyond happy that he was finally back. But as I sat and my mind wandered, I couldn't help but glance over at him and notice how much more attractive he got over the years. His eyes seemed to be a brighter blue, his hair just as fluffy as it used to be, his body now slightly more muscular, the freckles on his cheeks still very visible, his jawline had seemed to get a bit sharper than I remembered. I quickly looked away and down at my desk as I thought to myself... I guess my feelings for him never left after all this time...
