One year later...
Wolf was a man of his words because he didn't break his promise. He made me win and I got what I wanted.
Not everything but I got them.
Excluding myself because I couldn't take it back anymore so I needed to build a new one.
A new one that is happy, free, and content.
I didn't know how to do it but I will because no more was stopping me.
Kian and his family were now living in jail kung saan dapat sila simula palang.
I got my dad and my child their justice.
Also mine.
While Lizzie...
She got a stroke and was now in a nursing home.
I visited her in my father's mansion when I got the news even though my hatred and disgust over her was deep down in my bones. But my reason for visiting her wasn't actually because I cared, but because I wanted to see her daughter because I randomly remembered the shits she did to me and I wanted to show her the consequences of it.
I settled with them for dinner all calm and composed kahit na gustong-gusto kong isubsob si Lexis sa lamesa.
We started eating while I started a casual conversation like we were a normal and happy family having our usual dinner until a fork made a clacking sound as it hit the marbled floor of the dining room and Lexis sharply gasped for air.
Her mom panicked but couldn't do anything because she was paralyzed in her pitiful wheelchair.
I remained calm as I sipped on my wine and watched her fight for her dear life.
"Oh, shit. I forgot I marinated that steak with grape wine." My voice was worried but my face said otherwise.
She was glaring at me despite the swelling of her body and redness of her skin while her mom tried to shout at me. It was inaudible but I knew what she was trying to say.
"Should I help your daughter?" I asked—crossing my arms and leaning on my seat.
She couldn't talk so she nodded her head while tears wet her face.
I leaned over the table and put my elbows on it to rest my chin on my palm. "Hmmm...she seems fine." I laughed because Lexis didn't seem fine at all.
Mukhang anong oras ay mamamatay na siya and it must be so good to witness but I didn't wanna be charge with murder so I sighed before pulling out my phone to call paramedics.
I waited for them until they arrived and I watched Lexis' throat get slit open so she could breathe.
The paramedics asked me if I purposely marinated the steak with grape wine knowing that Lexis was allergic to it, and I told them that she knew even though she actually didn't because I didn't inform her, but she still ate it.
The paramedics believed me when I told them that it wasn't the first time Lexis did that because she already did once six years ago by drinking red wine when Liam told them that he'll marry me.
That was my revenge at her and her mother for fucking messing with my head for bringing the fake psychologist on the first trial of my case, which they told everyone that I hurt myself for sympathy and attention so I made them taste their own fucking poison.
One month after that, I went back to watch my father's mansion burn and turn into ashes because Lexis fucking set it on fire. But I wasn't mad as I thought I would be because she set it on fire with her still inside.
