It has only been a year since Smokescreen was found. He is now twelve years old, but he gets along with the other trainees. Despite some are much older than him by four years. Some are giving him early training with Arrow Strike's, or Alpha Trion's, permission. But one of the trainees are wondering why Arrow Strike and Alpha Trion would bring a sparkling to base. And not where all the other sparklings who were too young ... are hidden.

"Hey! Smokescreen!" he called to him one morning.

"What's up Tinker?" Smokescreen called back in a tiring tone.

Tinker caught the exhaustion on the twelve-year-old's face. "Aaare you okay?"

"Didn't get alot of sleep the other night. I just had these ... really weird dreams." Smokescreen then remembered he had to be somewhere. "Is there something you want to talk about? I have to meet up with..." he yawned before continuing, "Arrow Strike."

"We'll walk, and talk," Tinker told him. Going through the halls, Tinker began to ask his questions. "How come you're not with the other Autobot sparklings? Is it because it's too risky? Or something else?" Smokescreen nearly froze and tripped over himself from Tinker's questions. "Smokescreen?"

"I ... I don't know." Smokescreen was trying to not sound like he was lying. "Mybe it's because it is too risky right now." He was trying to keep calm. He can't know! He might tell everyone else. And a decepticon spy would tell Megatron and-

"Smokescreen?" Tinker called out to him. "You-"

"I need to go!" Smokescreen bolted without warning. Tinker was too confused to even follow.

Why did he react like that? Tinker wondered. It's only a question. Tinker than decide to catch up on that later. After he had his morning cube of Energon, he headed over to the training grounds. On the way . . . he overheard a conversation. He pressed his back against the wall and listened.

"Smokescreen's power is most likely going to grow more stronger, as he gets older."

Arrow Strike? Who is he-?

"I know that, but we keep it a secret for his sake!"

Alpha Trion? Wait ... why are they talking about Smokescreen? He doesn't have any powers. Tinker's mind was echoing with questions.

"Look," Arrow Strike began, "I want to protect him as much as you do, but sooner or later," he paused, "Decepticons will find out! And if we're lucky ... our fellow autobots will be the first to know."

"Either of them knowing will be bad! Decepticons will be worst." Alpha Trion sighed heavily. "It's only been a year since we've discovered him. And we know there's another one out there who has been found. He or she could be close to Smokescreen's age. Possibly the same!"

What are they even talking about? Tinker wondered.

"Alpha Trion," Arrow Strike sighed heavily, "Smokescreen told me he was having strange dreams the other night. And they looked real!" he commented.

What does Smokescreen's dreams have to do with this? Tinker was getting more curious.

He then got his answer when Alpha Trion exclaimed, "IF ANYONE FOUND OUT HE WAS A MYSTICBOT ...," Alpha Trion's voice then shook. "Who knows what they'll do to him."

Tinker made his appearance and shouted, "WAIT! ... WHAT?!"

"TINKER?!" Alpha Trion and Arrow Strike exclaimed in unison.

"This enter time ... Smokescreen was a mysticbot?!" Tinker eyes gaze downward. The fact Smokescreen was a Mysticbot made his head spin. "How ... how is that even possible?"

"It's a long story." Tinker couldn't tell if that was Arrow Strike or Alpha Trion who told him that.

"But ... how?" Tinker asked again. "How is Smokescreen a mysticbot?!" he demanded.

"Tink . . . er ...?" Smokescreen's voice made Tinker whip his body around. "You ... you didn't ... Alpha Trion? ... Arrow Strike?" Tinker saw Smokescreen's face was lit up in horror and panic. And Tinker could tell his fear extended when his father figures didn't respond.

"Smoke –" Smokescreen turned on his heel and bolted. "Smokescreen!" Tinker called out. "Wait!" He ran after him, followed by Alpha Trion and Arrow Strike. Smokescreen ran through the base out onto death-soaked ground. They lost him quickly after that. "Wha? How did we –"

"He teleported." Tinker turned to the two older Autobots.

With a sigh, Alpha Trion glanced back to make sure no one was behind them. "Walk with us. We'll explain as we look for him." Tinker knew this would be his most likely chance of learning how Smokescreen could be a mysticbot. So ... he followed.
