Chapter eight: comfort

Lux's POV:

Janis and Damian flinched in surprise when I stormed into the garage but their expression became worried when they noticed how much I was shaking.

"Is everything alright Lux?", Janis asked concerned and I immediately ran into her arms hugging her tightly.

I couldn't hold my tears back any longer and Janis gently rubbed my back.

"Shhh it's okay, I'm here", she whispered into my ear and her tone was quite soothing.

Cady and Aaron walked into the garage as well and Damian was even more confused.

"Okay someone tell us what happened", he demanded.

"Lux didn't tell us yet but I assume it has something to do with Regina", Cady said and Janis' grip around me tightened.

"Of course it has. I should've stopped you from going to her party", Janis said and I shook my head before I slightly pulled away from her so I could face her.

"No, I just should've listened to you. I genuienly believed she just wanted to help me and meant well even if there was personal gain for her but I was wrong... She played me", I sobbed out and Janis caressed my cheek.

"Of course she did. She is a life ruiner. What did she do? Did she set you up for embarrassment at the party? Did she make fun of you?", Janis asked and I sighed.

"No... She harassed me... She said she wanted me and... She touched me... And wanted to touch me more... I...", I stuttered out and her face darkened.

"I did not see that coming. I thought she would rather throw herself off of a clif before she goes for a girl", Damian said and Janis' grip tightened even more to the point where I couldn't even move an inch.

"Yeah, I also didn't expect that. So her goal was to get into your pants... That's even worse than what I thought. God I hate that bitch even more now! How dare she try to touch you like that?!", Janis started to yell completely furious.

She suddenly started to glare at Cady and let go of me to walk towards her.

"You were meant to look after her! You were meant to intervene when Regina does anything sus! Where were you the entire time this happened?!", she yelled at Cady and Cady gulped.

"I never thought Regina would do that either", Cady said to justify herself and Janis suddenly glared at Aaron.

"Oh yes you didn't notice anything sus at all while you probably just stared at your boyfriend the entire time!", Janis said and Aaron stepped in.

"Hey, we might've enjoyed our time together since we can only see each other on weekends but I also never thought Regina would do that. She is a seductress, who makes  people chase her. She never aggressively went after someone to the point that she did something they didn't want to", Aaron explained.

"Janis please stop yelling at them... It's not their fault", I sobbed out and she immediately softened.

"I'm sorry", she said and grabbed a blanket to put it on me.

"God this dress is way too revealing", she said and covered me completely in the blanket.

"That's not all, she was upset when I rejected her... And it was scary", I said and Damian sighed.

"Yeah she probably doesn't respond kindly to rejection... Because she never gets rejected", he said and Cady gulped.

"I don't want to scare you even more but it's important for you to know that you might be her new target now", Cady said and Janis pulled me tightly against her.
