It has now been a few months since Yunho started drawing, and as such, he progressed extremely quickly. He thought of it as a fun activity to do during school breaks and when he had freetime. He would sometimes draw still life, like flowers or fruits, and sometimes, he would draw Mingi, whom he grew close to these last few months. He absolutely loved it! Drawing was like a way to represent all that was beautiful for him.
Even when he had a bad day, just seeing Mingi, then portraying him in his sketchbook would instantly relieve him and erase all the negative thoughts hidden in his head. Of course, part of the reason was because Mingi was just stunning! He had these beautiful eyes with the perfect shape. The waist was snatched and... OH! THAT VOICE!... And that personality! It was that of a joyful puppy, ready to do anything to please their master... The way he spoke, the way his eyes would accidentally lay on his own for a brief moment and then light up. Yunho would blush so intensely that he would have to quickly look away to not get caught. It was so cute how Mingi's soft expressions would light up any situation. He was just perfect any possible way!
"... so I had to run back pick it up at home. Haha do you believe it?!? Haaa... Uuuhm... Yunho-hyung? You okay?"
This made Yunho snap back from his intense staring and come back to reality. The little innocent grin and the cute almond eyes he had while looking at Mingi faded a bit under the effect of surprise, but immediately reappeared as he noticed that he was beside his crush. A deep shade of pink could also be seen on his cheeks. As a result, Yunho quickly had to look away. It was at these moments that he found the floor particularly interesting...
Gosh that was embarrassingggg! He was talking to me AND I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE !! I swear, IT'S GETTING WORSE DAY BY DAYYY
"... Ooh... OOOH! Uhm... Sorry, I didn't really listen to what you said..."
"Don't worry... But why are you like this these days? Hyung... Do youuuu..."
At this moment Yunho quickly guessed the subject of the question and quickly tried to answer. However, Mingi was faster and added:
"... find me embarrassing?"
Now THIS isn't what he had expected Le question to be...
"... NO WAIT NO NOT AT ALL!!! IT'S ACTUALLY QUITE THE OPPOSITE! I think you're awesome! You have that smile... That is really adorable! And I love your stories! It's just that... uhm... I guess I'm just easily distracted by things. Sorry again..."
Now it was Mingi turn to blush. HOW CAN HE BE SO CUUUTE, the latter thought. This was definitely the best meeting he ever had in his entire life! And he was grateful for him to be by his side.
The end of the day arrived and, as Mingi was at Yunho's house for a sleepover, it was almost time for dinner. After the awkward discussion earlier that day, both of them had decided to play some games.
First up was a cardgame, then it was some sort of karaoke guessing game, and finally some videogames. Mingi discovered during the karaoke game that Yunho actually had a beautiful voice while singing. Yet another of Yunho's charms that Mingi found adorable (in addition to the way he expressed himself earlier, which was really cute).
Another thing Yunho learned is that unfortunately, Mingi didn't really have any friends before. And by friends, I mean for example people who would wait for you to finish your lunch before exiting of the canteen, people who would let you keep an entire building without worrying about you burning it down. In short, people who you could trust and rely on when you had a stressful week.
This was actually a fact about Mingi, that Yunho didn't really expect nor understand. I mean, Mingi was his crush for a reason, right? He was too lovable to be true!! Sadly, this wasn't how some other people viewed him.
At dinner, they ate some Burritos, which is a typical Mexican dish. In addition to that, they had Nacho chips, which is one of the things Mingi liked the most. Finally, once the dinner finished, they quickly helped clean the table and went back to Yunho's room.
Yunho had changed up his room a bit since last time Mingi went to his, just to make it a little cozier. In the middle of the room was a full-sized bed with lots of pillows. There even where a few flower-shaped ones, that weren't there the last time. On the left side the bed was a little bedside table. At the right wall was his desk followed by a black beanbag that was covered by a plaid blanket. At the left wall were shelves for games, figurines, school exercise books and some other stuff. On the shelves we're photos displayed: some of the photos were with Mingi, others were with his mother and other family members. The walls of his room were full with posters of his favorite music artists Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson. Lastly, next to the door was a dresser and on it was a painting of a flower his mother made for him.
As both guys were a bit tired (but not entirely), they took turns to head to the bathroom, quickly shower and change into pyjamas. They then got on Yunho's bed and started watching an anime movie by the Ghibli studio. They cuddled a bit in each other's arms while watching the movie. However, neither of them could really concentrate on it: one side was Yunho as a blushing mess (because HE WAS FREAKING CUDDLING WITH THE GUY HE LIKES), and on the other side was Mingi, as happy as you can be while cuddling someone who brought you joy and made your life better since the first meeting. That is, eventually, both of them fell, wearing matching smiles on their faces.
When Yunho's mother quietly entered the room to switch the light off, she noticed both guys huddled up together on the bed. Then, smiling, she switched the lights off, bid them goodnight, and closed the door.
