Do you know how hard it was to get Husk to sit with me and watch a movie? It was very fucking hard. I had to actually sneak up on the man when he wasn't paying attention and tackle him, refusing to let go until he agreed to watch the movie with me.
That didn't work. I ended up being thrown across the bar and slamming into the floor on my back. "For the last time. No!"
"Come on, we're just watching movies. You can sit on your own and drink and not pay attention." I whine from the floor slowly rubbing my back to soothe the ache. "Why would I want to sit with you fucks and watch a damn movie?"
"Because Charlie wants you to join us. It's a bonding thing. I'll even let you pick the movie out!" I begged, staring up at him hopeful. "Fine, but on one condition." I nodded my head as I sat up excited that my plan had actually worked. "What are your feelings about Alastor?"
Slowly sitting up I rubbed my ass as I made it to my feet. "My feelings about Alastor?" he nodded his head waiting for my answer. "I don't know. He's fine most days but when he's in a mood I try to avoid him only to appear beside him and be his little doll." I mutter glancing around for his fucking shadow.
"You see how he's been," I pull my shirt down off my shoulders to show the many new scars that littered my skin. "Alright then." I fix my shirt and stare at the cat confused. "Just because I act a certain way doesn't mean I feel a certain way. I was a master at masking my own pain when I was alive, and I seem to be a better one now that I'm dead." I muttered, shrugging my shoulders. "Drink?"
"Yes please," I take one of the whiskeys and take a swig. "I thought you liked all those fruity drinks." His gruff voice seemed surprised. Smirking to myself I shrug my shoulders. "Some days a girl just likes her fruity drinks." We walked together to the Lobby and found our spots. Alastor seemed to be missing, most likely choosing to avoid watching anything on the 'picture box' Charlie and Vaggie were off looking at random movies that were just lying about. Pentious and his eggs were on the floor with Kiki who was getting some much needed scratches from Pentious.
" Oi! Gimme some of that!" Angel yanked my bottle from my hands. "Baby please you hate whiskey." Angel's face scrunched as he pulled the bottle away. "Maybe, but a buzz is a buzz." Rolling my eyes I snatch the bottle back. "Wanna make a game outta this?" Husk's ear perked listening in on our conversation. "Depends, what kind of game?"
"The game that involves drinking." He smirked winking at the cat demon who only rolled his eyes. "I don't need to make a game out of drinking." Husk grumbles not wanting to join in on our fun.
"Come on Husker, we're just tryin' to bond~" I sang leaning over trying to ruffle his fur. Rolling his eyes again Husk faced Vaggie and Charlie. "What movie you putin' on?"
"Zoolander! Emmie said it was really funny!" Angel looked at me cocking a brow. "It's a good movie!" I defended my choices in comedy movies. I only liked a certain few and I mentioned to Charlie months ago about how we should watch it one day.
"Pentious you wanna drink?" I asked hopping up to get a new drink since Angel stole mine. I leaned down scratching Kiki a few times behind the ear making her head follow my fingers for more scritches. "Ssssure, I would love to particccipate in drinking with my fellow friendssss." Snickering, I shook my head walking towards the bar. "Alright, what do you like? Gin? Whiskey? Bourbon? Tequila? Rum? Oooh we have Absinthe."
"Gin pleasssse," Charlie's grin grew hearing Sir Pentious use his manners instead of demanding something. It's strange, he actually hasn't demanded anything from us, only his minions. I grabbed a bottle of cheap Gin and a bottle of Rum for myself. "Where are your egg boys?" I asked looking around for eggs as I handed him the bottle.
