Kaminari POV

It was a normal school day at UA. Sensei went hard on us, he made us go past our quirks' limits in 1v1 battles. I actually didn't fry my brain! I went up against Todoroki and boy was it rough! I was doing great in the start, but Todo beat me once he upped his game. It was a great battle though. The rest of the class was just Mr. Aizawa lecturing us on better battle training techniques. Time flew by and it was time for lunch rush.

"Yo! Come join us, Kami!" shouted Kirishima from a table with Bakugou, Sero, and Mina.

"Yeah! Be there shortly!" I shouted back.

I got in line and realized I was behind Jirou. I blushed when she smiled at me and I gave her a smile back.

"How'd the battle go against Momoyao?" I asked her

"It was stressful., but great," she said

"Glad to hear," I said with a warm smile.

Before I knew it, it was my turn for lunch.

"What would you like today?" asked Lunch Rush

"I'll have some hot soba with a side of rice please," I replied.

"Great choice! Would you like some bubble tea?"

"Yes, please! Thank you so much!" I replied cheerfully.

"You're welcome. Enjoy!" said Lunch Rush.

I went to Bakugou's table with my lunch in hand.

"You finally made it Kami!" said Kirishima, punching me playfully.

"I guess so!" I say, laughing.

Bakugou gave me a death glare, I jumped slightly.

"Woah! Calm down, man! I know he's yours! I like someone else anyway.."

Mina gasped and jumped up, "Who is it?! Tell me! Tell me!" she said, excitedly.

I laugh nervously, "I don't think I should."

"Pleaseee!"

"Ok! Ok, fine."

"Yayy!"

I breathe in and out slowly, "It's...Jirou."

Mina hopped up and down, "So cuteeee!" she squealed.

I blush out of embarrassment, "Keep it down, Mina!"

Kirishima laughed and said, "Wow Kamibro! I bet you have a chance with her!"

I throw my hands up wildly, "I can't confess to her man! I'm too nervous!"

Bakugou laughed at me, "Shoot your shot Sparky! The worst she could say is no."

I sigh, "I can't, I'm scared." I say fidgeting with my fingers.

"Wow, guess I have no shot with Denki," said Sero with a sigh.

I look at him, shocked, "HUH-"

Sero looked at me, "I've liked you for a while Kami."

I blink, speechless.

"Ouch, that's gotta hurt," said Kirishima.

"You'll find someone Sero!" said Mina.

"I guess so," replied Sero.

"I feel so bad now," I said with a sigh.

"Don't! It's okay Kami!" replied Sero

"If you say so-" I say not convinced.

Bakugou pat Sero's head, "You'll be fine." he said with a reassuring smile.
