Sho's Pov
How did I end up cleaning a dirty room? mas malinis pa ata cr kaysa rito eh. I heard footsteps coming towards my room and I turned to look at who it is quickly, this academy felt off since Sam and I entered.
"How's the cleaning going?" It was Sam, I rolled my eyes and continued cleaning.
"Are you annoyed?" she asked, obvious ba? sinong matutuwa eh ang dumi dumi ng kwartong 'to.
"Obvious ba?" I muttered under my breath.
"Ano?" tanong niya naman.
"Just leave me alone, will you?" I answered while looking at the mess inside the room, I don't even think I would be able to finish cleaning this today.
I sighed and shook my head as Sam looked around the room.
"This room's bigger than mine ah" She uttered, okay? do I look like I care?
Sam's Pov
I slid my finger sa desk na may mga librong nakalagay, ew... dusty.
"I didn't expect na ganito siya karumi" I dusted my fingers and turned to face him.
"May alcohol ka?" he rolled his eyes at my question at kinuha sa bag niya ang alcohol at hinagis sa'kin, sinalo ko naman at nag spray sa kamay.
"Mabait ka naman pala, that's a first" I uttered pero umiling lang siya at tinuloy ang paglilinis, tahimik ba talaga 'to lagi? Okay, I feel a little guilty tuloy after seeing the mess in this room, I sighed... I can't believe I'm going to do this.
"You know what? okay fine, I'm sorry, you can stay with me sa room since may bunk bed naman, plus we could brainstorm together if we find something suspicious" ani ko at tumingin siya sa'kin like he's observing me... or he just couldn't believe I said that?
"Really, Sam? you made me clean up this filthy room ta's pagbibigyan mo lang din pala ako na matulog sa maayos na kwarto?" He rolled his eyes... nagmamagandang loob na nga yung tao eh.
"ayaw mo? edi 'wag" pag bawi ko sa sinabi ko.
"No, I'm going to get my things and I'll see you there" sagot niya, wow, thanks sa'kin ah. Bago siya makaalis sumilip siya sa pinto.
"Oh, and please bring the alcohol with you, kahit 'wag na kita makita doon, basta nandoon ang alcohol ko" sasagot pa sana ako pero umalis na siya, bastos ng ugali.
Napatingin ulit ako sa desk na may mga libro and one particular book caught my attention, The red surface and the gold edges of the cover bear the marks of time, with subtle wear and tear adding to its authenticity. I just shook my thoughts off at umalis na papuntang room namin habang hinahagis-hagis yung alcohol na nasa kamay ko.
Sho's Pov
"Bigat" I muttered under my breath after carrying my things down from the trunk of my car. Hapon na, marami nang estudyante ang nakakapansin sa akin, maybe they're wondering who I am, I don't really care, but their stares make me feel so uncomfortable, I hate it, ngayon lang ba sila nakakita ng tao?
"yo dude, do you need help?" A guy approached me... suddenly?
"I can do it myself man, but thanks for offering a hand, I appreciate it" the guy nodded and proceeded to walk away from me... eh?

After entering our dormitory, I saw Sam unpacking her things, ba't parang ang dami ng gamit niya? ah whatever, I'll let her be because magsusungit lang nanaman 'yan like how she used to be always.
I sat on the bed and tried to also unpack my things silently, I just want to rest after this.
"The bed on top is mine ah, disagree and I'll kill you" Sam uttered, ginawa ko sa babaeng 'to?
"kahit sa sofa ka pa matulog, okay na okay" I answered sarcastically at napakamot nalang sa ulo, ba't kasi 'di nalang manahimik eh.
"Sana pala 'di na ako nagmagandang loob sa'yo" She rolled her eyes as she finished unpacking and climbed up to her bed, 'di ko naman siya pinilit na magmagandang loob ah???
"Finally, I can rest" She exclaimed, what an annoying girl.
"Can you at least, shut up? you're getting annoying" I spoke.
"Whatever, Li" She uttered and after a few moments we heard an announcement from the speakers outside that was attached below the ceiling of our dorm room.
"To all students of Solstice Academy, we strictly need you to double lock your doors and windows for safety during the night as you all rest, I repeat, we strictly need you to double lock your doors and windows for safety during the night as you all rest, take care and be safe, thank you" The voice from the speakers disappeared and I went to the front door to immediately lock it and went to lock the windows too.
I peeked at Sam if she was sleeping and she was, now that I've thought about it, we haven't got the chance to eat dinner, or did she? I sighed as I finished unpacking and tried to rest, tomorrow's going to be a long day.

Sam's Pov
Humikab ako at umupo sa pagkakahiga, I decided na mag prepare na para ako nalang ang magluluto ng pagkain naman tutal parang ako palang ang gising. Bumaba na ako sa bunk bed at naligo.
Pagkalabas ko ng banyo ay hindi ko na nakita si Sho na natutulog... sa'n naman nag punta 'yon? lumabas na ako ng kwarto at nakitta siyang nagluluto.
"Wow, you're up early to cook ah, tama 'yan, may tama ka rin na nagawa" I sarcastically said.
"Try eating what I made for you, makakatulog ka sa sarap pero 'di ka na magigising" He retorted, hays.
"plus points for the effort para lang lasunin ako" I responded as he rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, Aoki" sagot niya naman sa akin.
Matapos niya magluto, he prepared for the day at school. After a while we were done eating and we decided to leave together for class.

As we entered the classroom the students started to gossip, typical students, mahilig sa chismis.
"Could you both please introduce yourselves?" sambit ng professor namin.
"Good morning, everyone, my name is Shawn Oustin Li but calling me Sho is fine" inunahan na ni Sho at ngumiti, 'kala mo napakabait.
"Good morning, everyone, my name is Samantha Aoki, you guys can call me Sam" sinundan ko naman at ngumiti.
"It's my turn to introduce myself sa inyong dalawa, my name is Magnus Ortega, your professor" he smiled at us, he looks too young to be a professor.
"By the way, you guys can sit beside Sofia" he pointed where the girl 'Sofia' was, and she was sitting next to two vacant seats beside the window.
Sumunod naman kami at umupo ako sa gitna habang sa gilid ko naman si Sho at sa kabila naman yung Sofia.
"Hi Sam, I'm Sofia Volkov, I'm half Russian by the way baka kasi isipin mong medyo weird yung surname ko eh" she smiled innocently and sweetly.
