*Honestly, no plot whatsoever. This OS is a result of just me missing my babies a little extra today, I don't know why 🤧*

Warnings : Mild angst maybe ? 🫣

“Yeah babaaa.. I'm on my way. Just ten more minutes and I'll be there.”

Pranali was assuring Mayank on phone while driving towards the cozy cafe that was five minutes away. But Mumbai's traffic was, Mumbai's, even if the roads had splotches of rain from a couple of hours ago. So for the safe side, she added five extra minutes.

“Okay hurry up. Everyone's waiting.” - came Mayank's excited voice through the speaker before the call ended.

Pranali smiled. It had been a year since the show ended and after a whole year, her ex co-actors decided to have a reunion. She was in the kitchen, stirring up some coffee for herself when Mayank had called. She had not hesitated in accepting the reunion idea and assuring him that she'll be on time at his mentioned address. Obviously, she was excited to see everyone after a year. Despite living in the same city, she had not gotten a chance to meet any one of them. Then there was life. Some were busy in shoots, some getting new projects, some vacationing. How time flies...

Yet, there was a nervousness settled in the pit of her stomach.

Mayank had said that almost all the cast members were coming. She couldn't help but wonder...

was he coming ?

The traffic lights turned red. Pranali put breaks to the car while sighing. Through various sources such as social media and entertainment news channels, she had known about his whereabouts. What he was doing or rather, not doing. But other than that, she had no clue about him whatsoever. If compared, she talked to her friends from the show time to time but he was the only contact in her phone that had not been touched in a year. And unsurprisingly, had not received a single call from him either.

The light turned green and she started driving again. Harshad and her were.. complicated. At least, to her. He had always been more than just a co-star for her. The bond they shared... it was unnamed. She couldn't classify it as friends because there was something that always felt between them. At least, from her side. Even when they would end a conversation, she felt like there was something left.

Unsaid.

Yet, neither of them spoke further.

And she couldn't categorize them as something more than friends either because they were... not. Never had been. She was just his another ex costar and a once-used-to-be-friend.

But for her, he was...

The twinkling of cafe lights reflected on her windscreen. Parking her car to a side, she stepped down and walked into the cafe.

Maybe some things were better left unsaid. Even to your own self.

The cafe was a warm affair. Specially when one came inside from the cool after rain breezes. She spotted her clan from the doorway itself, her face morphing into a wide smile. If her heart dipped low at not finding him among everyone, she acted oblivious.

“Pinuuu!” - it was Ami who squealed at Pranali's sight and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug.

Then it was a round of bear hugs. Sachin Sir, Vinay Sir, Ashish Sir, Ali Sir, Pragati ma'am, Swati ma'am, Mayank, Nisha, Neeraj, Paras, Niyati, Sharan every person greeted her with such warmth that she teared up. The nostalgia hit hard and she blinked rapidly to hold the tears at bay.
