Hey, guys. I will be updating today because I will be out of town tomorrow. The corgi picture is what Plue will look like, except just imagine that he also has an orange muzzle.

As always, thanks to everyone who voted and commented!!!

Natsu's P.O.V.

I am currently at the training field, waiting to pick a dog. I was near the end of the line, but after pushing and shoving my way through the mass of people, I reached the front.

I had my eyes on a white corgi puppy, with an orange muzzle, and gleaming brown eyes. It was currently yanking on its leash, and bounding back and forth on its paws.

I'm going to name it Burrito, and I don't care what anybody says.

"Natsu Dragneel. It is now your turn to choose your canine partner," Laxus announced, his eyes full of annoyance. I guess he didn't want to be here.

I leaped up onto the platform and stared at all of the dogs. None of them were as good as the corgi, so I bent down and scooped it up in my arms.

Everyone looked at me in surprise, their eyes filled with shock. "What? Got a problem with me choosing Burrito?" I growled as Burrito started to lick my face, and wiggle around in my arms.

I walked off the platform and paused at the end of the line. We were all ordered to wait until everyone got their puppies.

A very buff looking guy with white hair walked onto the stage. He observed all the puppies until his eyes landed on a black and gray speckled Great Dane puppy. He picked it up, and turned around to face the crowd.

"Picking dogs is manly!!!" He said as he started to yell "Man!" Over and over again, until Laxus yelled at him.

"Enough, Elfman!" Laxus boomed, looking like he was ready to tackle him off the platform.

After Elfman leaped off the stage, it was Erza and Gray's turn to pick a dog.

Erza decided to choose a strawberry colored Pitbull, which she later named Strawberry, of course.

Meanwhile, the Ice Prick chose a black and white husky puppy, and name him Blizzard.

When they were done choosing their companions, I noticed a stray cat with blue fur wandering around the field.

"I need that cat," I muttered quietly, as I inched towards it. When I was about a foot away from the cat, he turned around and stared at me with his pitch black eyes. He tilted his head to examine me, and then he bounded over to where I stood.

All do the sudden, he leaped into my arms, on top of Burrito. They were squirming in my arms so I put them down onto the ground. When their paws touched the floor, they hopped back and forth like they were dancing.

I chuckled at their actions and decided to go back to my cabin. I scooped them back into my arms, and quickly walked toward the direction where the cabins were located.

When I reached my little cabin, I kicked open the door and it hit the wall with a loud bang.

"Luce! I'm back!" I yelled putting Burrito and the stray cat down.

I looked up to see Lucy hugging and kissing Burrito. She looked as happy as a child opening her presents on Christmas Day. When she looked at the blue furred cat, she squealed and picked him up as well.

I couldn't look away from their happy actions, and I ended up staring at Lucy.

"What did you name them, Natsu?" Lucy asked while Burrito tried to lick her face. "Hello, Natsu?" She waved her hands in front of my face and snapped her fingers.

"Oh, sorry Luce. Guess I spaced out. The corgi is named Burrito, and I'm going to name the cat, Happy." I replied snapping out of the daze that I was in.

Lucy gave me a dumbfounded look and stared at me like I was crazy. "Burrito?! Happy?! What kind of names are that?" She exclaimed.

"I named the cat Happy because he made you really excited," I replied looking closely at Lucy as she blushed.

"Y-you named him after me?" She stuttered.

"Yeah." I bluntly replied as her face became an even darker shade of red.

"Thank you, Natsu," she replied sincerely.

Suddenly, an idea popped into my head.

"Oh, Luce! You can have Burrito if you want! I can have Happy be my partner!" I grinned bouncing up and down like a child.

Lucy laughed at my sudden action and picked Burrito up. "Really? Are you sure?" She asked, her eyes gleaming. I nodded in response.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" Lucy yelled as she barreled into me for a hug.

I grinned and hugged her back. "So, are you going to name him, or keep the name Burrito? I think that Burrito is a good name, but Plue is a good one, too." I hoped that she would choose one of the two names.

"I think I'll name him Plue, so I can remember this day and you, too. I can't thank you enough though, Natsu. No one has ever done something this nice for me." Lucy smiled brightly as she hugged Plue tightly.

"You're welcome, Luce." I grinned sincerely, and pulled all three of them into a hug.
