1. Muse A feels a little under the weather that morning but dismisses it as them being a little more tired than usual. At the end of the day they feel worse than before, but not by a lot, so they head home exhausted but still feeling mostly ok. Unfortunately they end up having to walk home but there is a huge storm that's about to hit, cue the cold rain pelting down on their soaked and shivering body as they run to get home feeling worse by the minute but more terrified of the lightning and thunder in the distance. They finally reach their house/apartment, and Muse B, their roommate/SO immediately helps them out of their soaked clothes while Muse A is sniffling and sneezing in the process. Muse B helps Muse A warm up all the while trying to comfort them, knowing about their phobia of storms. Muse A goes to bed a little early hoping to sleep off whatever they're coming down with. Less than 30 minutes later the actual storm hits and it is not merciful, Muse A freaks out, hiding under the covers trying to block out all the noise and flashes of light, then Muse B once again comes to their rescue and cuddles them in bed. Both stay up for most of the night since the storm looked like it wasn't going to pass anytime soon. Eventually Muse B falls asleep only to wake up a little while late to see Muse A still curled up whimpering and shivering against them. Muse B then calls in for both of them and spends the day taking care of Character A.
2. Muse A and Muse B had been dating off and on for years. Breakups, make ups, harsh words, drug/alcohol fueled nights, and flying fists. Unhealthy is the only way to describe their relationship. Loving each other was the easiest and hardest thing they had ever done. Finally unable to take it anymore, Muse A left in the middle of the night without saying goodbye. With their lover gone, Muse B fell into an even deeper hole of drugs and violence. Years later, Muse A has cleaned up their life, gotten a good job, and made a difference in the lives of others. Muse B is still stuck in a life of one night stands, but they've gotten themselves clean from drugs and alcohol. The two meet unexpectedly, and see how different each other have become. This chance encounter turns into another, than another, but Muse A is unsure of whether or not they want to get themselves caught back up in that world. For Muse B, seeing Muse A reminds them of all the terrible things they had done in their past. Being reminded of all they had done, Muse B decides to they need to show Muse A they've changed for good.
