Zora. 11:30 A.M.April 1.

While I waited for my mother I sat looking out the window with water droplets on the outside due to the rain. The gloomy weather filling my eyes causing them to get heavy at the relaxing sound and vison. My eyes bashfully blinking slowly preparing to lose contact to fully fall asleep.

"Hey you falling asleep babygirl?" I heard my mom say causing me to look at her. My and my mother don't have a connection. There's days when she's nice and then there's days when she not so nice. Being a child of Beyoncé I constantly get reminded of that.

"Yeah the weather just getting to me I'll be fine" she hummed and nodded.

"Well let's go we don't want to be late" I nodded and looked back out the window before getting up.

"Why would grandma pick today to have a family dinner?"

"I don't think she knew it would rain" my mom answered. I nodded and we got in the car for her to only pull off.

"So what if we find you a job? You're 16 and you can start early for money savings?" I scrunched my face looking at her.

"I can't start a job when I'm still in school" i huffed.

"But you can work nigh shifts when your out of school"

"What sleep will I get for school then mom" I rolled my eyes. I can't do school and work at the same time.

"You just don't want to work" she mumbled here we go. I sat up and fully looked at her. Before crossing my arms

"I never said I didn't want to work what are you talking about?" I argued.

"Zora you're 16 years old and you don't want a job?"

"I do actually you don't understand how bad I do. But it's gonna mess up my schedule right now" I yelled

"Who are you yelling at?" She gritted I sat back and rolled my eyes. "Now you say you want it so whatever that makes you want it think about that"

"Yeah I want it so I can get away from you"

"Excuse me?" She glanced at me as she hoped on the highway. "Ok so get away from the woman that gave you life and works hard to make sure you clothed and in a nice school. Got it" she nodded.i scoffed

"No to get away from the woman that lied to me my whole life" I spoke.

"Zora don't start opening up old wounds please" she sigh. I scoffed.

"Yeah ok" I sat back in my seat crossing my arms leaning my head against the window.

"What do you want me to do Zora?" She yelled speeding down the road.

"First off I want you to slow the hell down. Second to stop being a damn liar so much"

"How am I a liar Zora how?"

"When are you not a liar mom? You lied about being my mom when I was younger and that fucked me up. You lied about my dad beating you and that's why he left no he left because you was caught with your legs opened with someone else between them. So how are you not a liar" I yelled she gripped the wheel and shook her head.
