Bella's pov
the day I turned eleven
"Honey calm down, their going to want her and she'll get her letter" my dad says to my mom as I sit in the living room listening to my mom panic over if I'd get my letter
I get up and go outside and check the mail I look through it and see a letter for me I open it

Dear Bella Lakewood
I'm and pleased to say you are invited to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizarding-
That's all I read before running to my mom
"Mama I got my letter!" I say excitedly, as I hand it to her
"Oh good job sweetheart" my mom says

I went to Hogwarts that year
I got sorted into Slytherin like the rest of my family
I'm met Draco Malfoy and the rest of the gang we all became friends, but I was really good friends with pansy me and her clicked like sisters, but unrelated I thought it was cool to have a sister, yeah I have a sister named Rose but she's never around anymore after she got to Hogwarts. She never came home. She sent letters now and then but that's about it. With pansy she knows everything about me and I know everything about her we spend most of our time together talking
Until the third year
Once third year hit something happened, we stopped talking for a while, and I went to this depression and cut myself and all that stuff but she came back. She told me what happened her little brother had died. I don't blame her for taking a break from everyone, I told her she had me and always will and we've been good ever since
We plan to stay together forever
I hope that works
We're in the fifth year now everyone's 15
Everyone's had a glow up
My birthday was yesterday it's still technically summer break, and Hogwarts is in three months
No one came to my birthday. I texted them and told them they said they try to make it but they didn't come my birthday was pretty boring without them. I did what I could to stay entertained
My mom and dad were fighting the whole time so I just spent most of it in my room I'm reading and painting. My mom hates that about me. She could've asked me every day for it. I don't blame her. She's going through a lot right now. Dad's threatening a divorce , they've been fighting a lot ever since I turned 13. They've done nothing but fight I'm 15 that's two years of fighting. I'm so ready to go back to Hogwarts.
Hogwarts is like my home the place I can go and escape it all
I miss Tom and pansy and Enzo I just miss everyone
It's hard not having them here with me, but in a month I'll get to see them again I think it's fun
We're having a party on a beach Draco made it
He said last party before the school starts school is a month away from the party. I doubt this is the last party they're going to, but it's the last part that'll have me.
I'm not allowed Voldemort like the rest of my family
That's how my dad gets money and how we live mom hates it, but she says as long as we're safe, it doesn't matter but I'm forbidden from being around Voldemort until I turn 16
Apparently 16 is supposed to be the age that I get my mark and become a death eater like the rest of my friends
I don't want to, but that's how it works. I don't really have a choice.
I guess what I get for being a pure blood family there is these rules that we have to follow. I have to be perfect if I'm not perfect I get hit but that's completely fine. I know how to do and I haven't got hit for years. I just hope I can get past this.
My dad likes to hit a lot not me but my mother  she takes the hits for me. She says it's for my own good and then I shouldn't be hit. I don't know how that works when she criticizes me every day. It's like a hit to the heart she says I'm not allowed to be hit physically, but she hits me mentally almost every day with the crew word she speaks to me normally tell pansy all of this, but pansy got grounded for sneaking out so I've known to talk to other than Tom, me and Tom are pretty close, but my parents don't know that because if they knew they'd freak out and yell at me for talking to a riddle before I turned 17 but what did they expect we go to the same school We were bound to find each other. Me and Tom are pretty close though he knows a lot about me and I know a lot about him. We share secrets all the time we spend nights staring at the sky and talking about our life we wanna do in the future and what's happened in the past what we wish we could change and what we wish would stay the same in the future I think it's cute nighttime talk it makes me feel like I have someone
