Chapter 36: We're A Team

~Harry's POV~

"Harry, wake up." I heard Logan say, softly. I woke up, and looked at him. "What's up?" I asked. "We can go see my dad now." I said. "Oh, okay." I got up, and followed Logan. We took the elevator up to the second floor, and looked around for his dad's room. Once we found it, he walked in. He was sleeping, so he just pulled up a chair. I stood back a few steps. "Hey dad." he whispered, and held his hand. "Huh? Oh, hi son." he said, weakly. "How are you feeling?" he asked. "Well, I'm getting better. Who's this?" he pointed at me. "I'm Harry, sir." I put my head down. "Oh, this is your boyfriend?" he asked. "Yes." Logan nodded. "Come here, boy. Let me get a good look at you." he gestured for me to come closer. I walked over to him, and he analyzed me. "It looks like you have yourself a good man here, Logan. He's strong, sturdy... like a well-built shelter. I think he's gonna take good care of you." he said. "I think so too, dad." Logan took my hand. "So, Harry... what do you like best about my son?" he asked. "Ah, jeez. There are so many great qualities in him, but I think the one I like best is... how much he cares." I sat down by him, and put my arm around his shoulders. "Yes, I think that's one of his best qualities too." Robert agreed. "I also love his determination and passion." I looked at him. "Do you love him?" he asked, and I saw blush creep over Logan's cheeks. "Yes, absolutely. With all of my heart." I smiled. 

We talked for a couple more hours, until a nurse came in and told us that visiting hours were over. Logan and I walked out holding hands, and I smiled at him. "Your dad seems like a great guy, Logan." I said. "Yeah, you're pretty lucky, you know. He doesn't like most of the people I date." I said. "Did he like Jade?" I asked. "Yeah, he did... but that's in the past. I have you now!" he nuzzled me. "Yeah, and that's good enough right?" I asked. "That's more that I could've ever asked for." he pulled me closer, and kissed me right in front of the hospital.
