" Everybody has secrets but none as many as Lydia Sinclair!"
𝐋𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫 was a fucking liar!
It was a fact that came up regularly in her life, given it wasn't a very long life, she had heard it far too many times but at this point in her life, it wasn't something she could change.
At first, the lies had come as a way to cover up the past she was hiding but as time passed, the lying became all the more easier and she had begun to notice that she had become rather good at lying, so good at it in fact, she was offered a job.
The lying came easy that was what scared her because Lydia Sinclair wasn't supposed to be that kind of person. She wasn't supposed to lie, she wasn't supposed to hide her true identity. The person who was supposed to be like that was Evelyn Shelby.
And Lydia Sinclair was never Evelyn Shelby.
That was the first lie she ever told herself and she repeated it to herself every morning like a mantra. A mantra that if forgotten would get her and everyone she cared about killed.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐛𝐲 was supposed to be the fucking liar!
She was supposed to lie to her father about where her younger twin brother was and what he was up to. She was supposed to lie to the police when they came asking about her family. She was supposed to lie to her younger sister about the horrors she had witnessed as a child, the horrors that had come from her father.
