I look at him with a flabbergasted look. He gets up and looks down on my and smiles. "alight baby sis I'll see ya tomorrow for more training. I don't need you getting in trouble."
He turns to walk away but i speak up. "brother" "hmm" he turned around to look at me again "You and i both know that my umm- bleed will happen soon. What will happen to my wings will they get-" In a quick motion his hands are on my face, making sure im looking at him. "No i will not let that happen. I promise you that. If im not there promise me you will run. As fast as you can. Kill them if needed."
I saw the look in his eyes telling me he wasn't joking. He mean every fucking word. "No matter where you run or hide i will find you. Just please don't let them take your wings, don't let them take your freedom. Promise me." His face is still telling me he means it. I nodded my head. "i promise. i wont let them take my wings" His eyes still holding worry. "No matter how many people you kill, you will always be my baby sister" He said looking over my features.
I took after my mother. The dark black hair and light skin tone, and a very beautiful female. My mother always told me.
"Beauty is very scary, because all men look at you for how beautiful you are, but they never see how deadly and dangerous you are"
My brother smiles at me "Thank you, now i need to got the sun will be over the mountain soon" sadness washed over my eyes, but nodded.
"okay you'll be here tonight right?" He smiled brightly "of course i will, got to make sure you know how to protect yourself and stay in shape." I smiled "i always knew you would be a mother hen with me" He nodded his head grinning "hell yeah since the moment i found out you where gonna be born and i was going to be an older brother to a girl i just knew i was going to have to make you one of the strongest females i know." He turned around letting his wings out "Goodnight Lina love you" I smiled waving "Good night Cassie love you to fly safe" "Always" then he fly's off
But neither one of you would have thought it would be the last time seeing each other.......
"Brother!" Its 2 hours passed when he's supposed to be here. 'Did her get hurt. or maybe caught going back this morning. Shit' I heared a stick snap a distance behind me walking slowly closer to me. Slow foot steps turn in to running then sprinting. Then i heard i whisper in my ear. 'RUN FAST' So i did i started sprinting as if my life depended on it because right now. It fucking did. What ever was chasing me was trying so hard to get there hands on me. What ever was whispering to me kept yelling 'Run' 'Go faster' 'He's right behind you'.
Praying to what ever was holy for him not to catch me, but my hope ran out when i felt and bog hand on the back of my neck and one over my mouth and noes blocking out anyway to breathe. Small dots started showing up then everything went black.
'Goddammit so help me my promise will stay as it it. In till the mother above takes my soul to hell.'
