Redemption

Nobody is truly innocent, Adam had to learn this the hard way.

Adam tapped at his phone anxiously, Sera had texted him that Emily wanted to hang out, and with her 'Doing important activities for the council' Adam had practically no choice, but to go and be with her. He had argued his case, stating that she was a literal adult! Unfortunately for him though it was fruitless..hell Sera even made a joke stating he needed to go outside!! She hated that lady sometimes..He would let out a low groan, mumbling a few curse words, before getting ready.

He took only one step out the door, before suddenly being hugged by the excited little Seraphim. She was practically exploding with happiness, excited to see The First Man, how long has it been? Well- after almost being murdered by the little demon, and barely escaping with his life, he never really left the house. The exterminations were banned, after hearing that a demon had been redeemed, and sent to heaven. Adam wanted to die hearing that information.

"Adam! It's been so long, I'm glad to see you okay!! I hope Sera hasn't been overworking you, you still need to wait another week the doctor said."

Adam could feel himself letting out a low breath, he had forgotten Emily was there, keeping a close eye on him to make sure he didn't die..she was really fuckin' clingy in the hospital, she almost fed him at one point, it was like she was REALLY trying to keep him alive. It sounded like Emily, but he thought she hated him..she wanted demon redemption, he wanted to fuckin' murder em' they were polar opposites, destined to fight against each other. Adam didn't realize Emily was still talking to him, until she said his name again.

"Adam? Did you hear me, or were you deep in thought?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah sure whatever.. I'm down for whatever.."

She would suddenly get really giddy, jumping slightly, before walking next to him. Her eyes practically turning into stars, as she already began pushing him ahead to do the activities she wanted.

The day was long, and Adam was exhausted after the eventful day, they went from going to get ice cream, to a park, to a concert. The ice cream and concert made up most of the trip, otherwise it was pretty meh. Now he was on his way home, he had dropped Emily off first. She tried to get him inside, because he looked tired, but he assured her that he can make the trip back fine. Now he was starting to regret it..he felt dizzy, he didn't know why, he got good sleep the night, before and they've done nothing but eat and drink..he only started feeling this way drinking that blueberry milkshake..was he gonna get sick again?! He groaned, and stopped walking. He held his head tight before leaning on a wall, sliding down and laying on the floor. His mask being taken off by him, and tossed to the side. He tried his best to get back up, but to no avail. That's when everything would go black..

Adam awoke with a low groan, his head ached, and he felt cold. It was still pitch black out? He couldn't see anything! He would attempt to get up, only to be stopped by something metal. He let out a confused hum, before attempting to move again, the results were the same. He was getting concerned now.. he would start to yank, and pull at the restraints, letting out a confused growl, as his eyes  looked around at nothing but darkness. Was this all a dream? Was being in heaven a stupid dream he had? Was he in hel-

"AHH-!"

He shouted in pain at bright lights suddenly flashed on, temporarily blinding the first man. He couldn't exactly do anything, but close them at the moment. After a moment he'd adjust, and his eyes would open to see.

"Emily? Oh thank fuck! What's going on? What the fuck happened last night?!"

He asked, watching the little Seraphim admire him, letting out little hums, as she left his questions unanswered. He would suddenly yank on his restraints again only to hear a yell of concern coming from Emily.
