beep! beep! beep!

it was my first day at a new school and i couldn't be more excited. although i was excited, i was also very nervous. thoughts ran through my head.

what if they don't like me? am I too weird? do we dress differently in cali then here in north carolina? do i use a different body scent? gosh what if im too ugly?

i tried my best to ignore these thoughts as i entered the shower playing summertime sadness by lana del rey. i hopped out the shower and dried myself of with my towel.

i walked into my room thats packed with boxes. im dreading to unpack tonight. walking over to a box labeled 'cute girly clothes'. i peeled off the tape from the box and opened it trying to find an outfit.

i finally found a white see through blouse long sleeved, a tank top under, tucked into some black leggings, a sleeveless jean jacket, and my brown combat boots.

once changed i brushed my teeth, dried my hair, and brushed it out leaving it naturally wavy today.

at school, i walked through the huge glass doors. i received many stares as i tried finding my way towards the office. i knocked on the principals door, it was opened revealing a tall woman wearing heels, dressed in a pencil skirt and a blouse. she looked quite young.

"come on in, you must be the new student, ashlynn?" she asked smiling

"umm, it's ashley" i mumbled shyly

"sorry about that," she laughed "come take a seat while i print out your schedule" she directed towards a black cushioned seat.

"mrs. rosemary, im here!" i turned to find a girl standing at the doorway dressed preppy like.

"ahhh, kate this is ashley shes the new student, ashley this is kate shes going to be showing you to your classes and around the school" mrs. rosemary smiled introducing us. I waved shyly.

"alright, here is your schedule, i hope you the best and that you love it here" she smiled again. she smiles a lot.

i stood up and walked with kate out of the office. i heard whistles from the boys as i walked past I slightly smiled and looked down.

"boys shes out of limits ok?" kate yelled. i thanked her. "well you start with math mr. krum and i start with french mrs. something i can't pronounce" she laughed. she showed me to my first class turns out im late just my luck!

"excuse me. mr. krum, this is the new student ashley. i was showing her around the campus so dont mark her late thank you" she smile and walked off. all eyes were on me now.

"well you can take a seat in the back next to nash, nash raise your hand please" mr. krum said. a very attractive boy raised his hand. i awkwardly walked over to the seat next to him. "ashley, actually tell the class about yourself."

"um do i have to?" i asked he nodded. "ok well where do I start?" i looked around the class nervously. "im a normal teenage girl..."

"a hot one" a boy remarked and laughed with his friends i rolled my eyes

"i moved here from california, its so different. uh, i sketch sometimes. i want to have a fashion line soon with my own designed clothes. there's nothing really interesting in my life."

"what about your family?" mr. krum suggested. jerk i thought.

"well, my dad left my mom and i when i was 6 years old. i don't exactly remember him and haven't seen him ever since. i live with my mom, sister anna, and brother jake. both younger than me." i finished and sat down.

"amusing," nash quietly spoke smirking at me i rolled my eyes "found a feisty one" he chuckled

"found a jerk" i smirked back.
