Season 1 Chapter 7: ...Sorry

The scene opens on the cafeteria in Building 5 where the players from Team Z and Team V met before their match.

Reo: Like I said, who are you?

Isagi: I'm Team Z's Yoichi Isagi. I'm the one who will beat you!

Zantetsu: *mouth full* Team Z? These guys?

Megumi: So they're the ones we have to go up against tomorrow, huh?

Nagi slightly glanced up and sees Isagi and remembers that he was the first one who went running through the doors on the first day of Blue Lock.

Nagi: ( It's the guy from back then. )

Shihai: *to Megumi* I never expected to see you here, man. Long time, no see.

Megumi looks over to where the voice came from and sees that it was Shihai who had called out to him. A few seconds pass before Megumi realizes that it was Shihai who he hasn't seen in a while.

Megumi: Shihai?!

The two walk past their respective teams and high dive each other.

Shihai: Looks like you actually grew an inch or two since the last time I saw you.

Megumi: Yeah. The summer decided to be good to me and gave me an extra 15 cm. But I guess it was better to you since you got so freaking big.

Shihai: *smirks* Jealous?

Megumi: Of course I am, dammit!

The members from Team Z and Team V stare at Shihai and Megumi talk to each other like old friends and became curious about their relationship.

Reo & Isagi: You know this guy?

Shihai: Yeah. We went to middle school together and played on the same team all the way up to graduation.

Megumi: We ended up going to different schools though since it would have been boring to stick together. We wanted to see who was gonna come out on top if we actually faced each other. But it looks like we finally get to see that day, huh?

Shihai hears Megumi's question and wanted to give him full-hearted answer, but faked it as best as he could.

Shihai: Yeah, whatever. *to Team V* If it means anything coming from me, thanks for dealing with him for as long as you did. He's... a real handful.

Reo: No kidding.

Megumi: I'm right here and don't say it like I'm some baby!

Shihai: Whatever you want to call yourself to make you feel better.

Nagi: Let's go, Reo.

Reo: All right, all right.

Megumi: I guess I'll see you on the battlefield.

Shihai: Yeah.

Shihai and Megumi fist bump each other one last time before Megumi leaves with his teammates.
