The dark abyss consumed the young woman. It was hard to accept that she was dead at first but eventually accepted the fact.
She could only wondered to herself is this the so called afterlife. When she opened her eyes, only to see nothing but darkness. She heard a voice. "How pitiful. A star who shines the brightest among all the stars yet fades away the quickest. I'll give you one more chance in life. This time make decisions that you won't regret." She looked around but nobody was there. There was only darkness that consumed her.
"Another chance in life...?" She mumbled to herself before she could asked any questions to the mysterious voice. She was blinded by the bright light. When she finally opened her eyes, only to see surroundings that she was completely unfamiliar with nor had any recollection and she tried to move her body to get a better observation of the room but couldn't. The frustration she felt when she tried multiple attempts to get up before she gave up. 'Ugh! Why is my body not listening to me!" She could only lay on the bed in utter defeat. Before she could think more of her situation, she felt a headache in her head as she rubbed both sides of her temple with her hand to try easing the headache.
As her headache eases abit, she noticed her hands were far smaller than she remembered and the bandages on her head and she could winced in pain at the sudden sharp pain from her legs. She could see that her legs were carefully bandaged as the bandages covered her legs. She also realised her legs were much smaller than before but how does a person shrink even? But another question was....
Wasn't she stabbed on the stomach..? She could thought to herself, she was sure about it. The immense pain that she felt when she was stabbed and how she was bleeding far too much to be able to survive....
'wait....i wouldn't be able to survive with how much blood i lost..." She carefully looked at her surroundings. She realised this wasn't the hospital. She could only guessed based on her observations as she could not walk nor take a single step. The walls were made of wood and floor were made of wood but they look extremely old like the old orphanage she once lived in but this one looks even more outdated. Even the bed was rough and uncomfortable for a person to sleep on.
She could only thought to herself. 'this place looks worse than the orphanage i once stayed...' oh how much she missed her newly bought apartment. She tried to guess what exactly happened to her but there were even more questions...
"How can a person shrink now that i think about it... It doesn't make sense..." She mumbled to herself with completely puzzled at her situation. 'It can't be! Did she become a old lady?!' She panicked and thought she just became 20 and now she's an old lady and didn't get to enjoy anything now she's in care centre!
But then she realised that also wouldn't make sense. These hands... Although they were rough but her skin looks like a kid still... She was so frustrated at this, before taking a glance at something stunned her. The desk next to the bed, there was a mirror and she can see her reflection clearly. But that's the reason why she was stunned, this appearance has some similarities yet so different but more of all... Her appearance looks like a child! 'This isn't my body... Shit.' A new headache that she has to deal with but her major problem is how does she get back to her now...
