Aron.
He, despite all the rumors and bullying, he found me interesting. He always showed up next to me during recess and stayed nearby quietly.
I learnt some things about him, the short moments we have just for two of us.
He was from a big family of many sisters and brothers, both parents home.
It was great to have some company that was not... Playing in mud and making animal sounds on the recess. The pony games were just getting too much for me at that point and I pulled away from my friends and classmates. They annoyed me while Aron and his friends did not. I truly liked him, he was gentle yet kind of a bad boy without actually doing or saying anything that made him a rebel exactly. I think it was an art form of its own. Truly impressive the way he said something yet meant the complete opposite.Tobias.
He did not need to but just look at me and my knees went wobbly. He never said anything to me, not a word ever. I heard later on that he had a crush on a girl a year older than them, but she did not care for him. Was sort of cruel to him and he just let her.
He did not live at home, he was in a foster family and I never heard him mention his parents or actually say anything of his family. He was alone in the world I always thought, even in a group he looked like he was just... Aside from it all. Yet he was Matt's best friend and he did not rely on anyone like he did in Tobias. It was some intense feelings I had; crush, sadness, empathy, sympathy. All at the same time.Matt.
The bodybuilder of the three. Always making fun of things, always breaking the rules, always fighting against the authority whatever it was in that moment. He had an older brother who had already finished high school and left for college. He had both parents at home, they owned one of the taxi companies that worked in the village.
He had this sad look in his eyes even when he laughed. The namesake Christa was head to toe in love with him. He just did not like her.
Later I learnt he was not as chill and nice as he gave away.It was such an odd time in my life. People arrived in it and did not leave by the time summer arrived. Sure my friends from my class got more distant but they did not vanish anywhere. The was still the group of people on my class that kept calling me all sorts of names; cow was probably the one I hated the most. Because I did not know what they meant by it and because they always laughed after.
So on recess I just found a quiet spot and then people just... Appeared around me. Suddenly my life was full of discussions, laughter and sarcasm. There was this girl, 2 years older with this big curly hair that showed up one time. She was a little round and quite short but she was the most funny person I've ever met. She was called Pia and it was guaranteed that she would make me laugh every single time she came by.
For once, I could consider that I was part of a group.
Accidentally and unintentionally for sure, but... It felt great!
