"You're all dismissed" Shah Rukh vocalized to his class. Students swarmed out of the classroom and to the exiting lecture hall doors like bees to honey. Unlike the rest, Kajol had taken her time to pack up her things. There was no reason for her to rush. She'd be assisting her professor. Working under him had been something Kajol was nervous about at first. He already hated her, she assumed he would make her do grudge work. Like the work he didn't want to do or being petty and making her run to get him coffee throughout the day. But Khan had been the opposite. He let her assist him with his lesson plans for future classes, grade paperwork from other classes, and answer his emails and phone calls.
Kajol actually enjoyed being his assistant... Whenever she exceeded his expectations he would tell her. His eyes would smile even if he didn't with lips. He would place his hand over her and in a low tone utter the words "Good job." or "Well done, Ms. Mukherjee." His words of praise always gave her a physical reaction. Her knees would grow weak and her stomach would feel like butterflies were fluttering around inside of her. Worst of all, between her legs she would feel.....things. Kajol wished her body didn't do such things against her will. Especially because of her professor. Was he a crush or a fantasy? Kajol still didn't know yet. He should really be neither.
"Kajol!" Aria snapped her fingers in her friend's dazed-off face. Kajol blinked her eyes coming back to reality. Leave it to Aria to always ground Kajol when she's drifting away. Aria had her things packed, she was just informing Kajol she would be heading out. Looking past Aria, Kajol could see Malik leaning against the doorway waiting for her patiently.
"You're heading out I know." Kajol voiced knowingly. She waved to Malik who greeted her back with a wave and a smile. Aria pushed her shoulder playfully at Kajol being annoyed with her. Kajol made her sound as if she were so annoying which was far from the truth in her mind.
"How late do you think you'll be working? We were all going to go out for dinner." Aria questioned. Since Kajol had been working with Professor Khan she would be late coming back to their dorm in the evenings. Aria wondered if the man was at the very least letting her have meal breaks.
"Don't worry about me. I'll be okay. You guys have fun!" Kajol smiled at her friend as she adjusted her bookbag strap to lay flatly on her shoulder.
"Zayan will miss you." Aria teased. She wiggled her eyebrows and nudged her best friend repeatedly in the arm as if there were something to be excited about; when it came to Kajol and Zayan. They were literally just friends. Kajol yawned as if she were tired because of the statement. She was curious as to when the jokes of her and Zayan being together would come to an end. Probably never.
"He'll survive." Kajol smirked at her giddy friend. She shoved her lightly in the direction of her boyfriend. What Aria really needed to do was focus on her own relationship and stop leaving her man waiting.
"Ms. Mukherjee." Professor Khan cleared his throat. He was ready to go. Kajol looked over her shoulder at her handsome professor. His briefcase was packed, gripped tightly in his hand. For a quick second Kajol ran her eyes run up him from top to bottom. He looked good today, donning a black button-up shirt that fit him just right and some professional slacks....If Kajol looked hard enough she could almost see his.....
"Kajol!" Aria called her friend back again from her thoughts. For the first time, Kajol was thankful. Looking hastily back to Aria she tried her best to not look so suspicious. Aria smirked giving her a knowing smile... They must have been looking in the same direction. Such perverts they were.
"I'll see you later." Aria said with a giggle before giving her friend a tight hug and pulling away.
"Bye Professor!" Aria said quickly before skipping to go run off in the sunset with her boyfriend Malik.
