Gabriel was walking down a path in the gardens of Eden, taking in the usual smell of cherry blossom that hung in the air. The higher class angel he served had strongly encouraged him to take up harp lessons, so that is exactly what he had done. The tips of his fingers had started to blister from the constant strumming of the harp, so Gabriel sat down on a carved marble bench to tend to his hands.

He said a prayer and the blisters slowly retreated from his hands, he then thanked God. Getting back up he heard some muffled cries for help coming from a corridor, after some moral debate and asking God for advice, Gabriel eventually decided to check it out.

He turned the corner and a horrific scene. A demon. It had its hand clamped over a young female angel's mouth, silencing her cries. Gabriel was frozen in place, neither of them had seen him, he could walk away, but a small tug on his soul reminded him of the right thing to do. He picked up a large pebble from the garden bed and weighed it in his hand before looking for a smaller one. Eventually Gabriel found the right sized stone and raised his arm to though it.

The demon stops and sniffed the air, then turned and looked eyes with him. Gabriel froze fear flooding though his veins. The demon charged, bearing its huge tusks and growling, heading straight for him. Gabriel throws the sharp stone but it goes wayward, the stone then disappears. The demon freezes, it's mouth hanging open. A pungent, black liquid poured out of it's mouth and from its torso. A second later, it dropped to the floor.

The young angel was frozen to the spot and shaking, now he had time to think he noticed how beautiful the young angel was. Gabriel walked up to her for a closer look. A large group of higher class angels soon swarmed the corridor, taking them both away.
