"Oh my go-" was all I could get out as thee Lady Galadriel gracefully glided towards us three dumbfounded idiots.

One guard spoke first. "Lady Galadriel! We caught this... person... walking up to the gates and they looked suspicious-"

Galadriel interrupted him, holding up her hand. Thankfully this shut him up and he didn't protest.

"I have been expecting their arrival." Galadriel  said gracefully. "I believe they can be of great help to us and those of the future." As she talked, I kept to myself, watching it unfold. Although I couldn't help but think, damn, ok queen. pop off with the respecting my pronouns thing. And I genuinely don't think it's one of those 'well I don't know this person yet so I'll just use "they" to be safe' situations. She's way too cool and smart for that. Oh boy this is fun.

"Now return to your posts, I will take this little one with me."

Little one? Oh she did not- oh never mind there's no point. Arguing that I'm average height is not going to win me anything against  a 6'4 goddess such as herself.

So I just stood there, hoping that it wasn't awkward that I was just  standing in front of one of the strongest women in middle earth and two buff elf guards, being as disheveled and 'short' as I was. Not going to lie though, I wish I was as strong and as powerful as Galadriel. Though perhaps not, as in most media, if a character is sort of over powered, they kill them off. I'm just glad that she didn't get killed off for that. But maybe it was just because everyone in the universe was extremely overpowered so that it all just evened itself out in the end. Maybe I was going to get killed off. Not sure of the reason yet, but it seems like something that would happen to me with my luck.

We walked- sorry- I walked, and she glided into a fortress looking, tree-like building. We went through the halls and eventually ending up in a quiet little room filled with scrolls that seemed to never end. It was stunning, unlike anything I had ever seen; and I've seen a lot considering that I had gone to see a historical building with my parents almost every summer. Nothing was like this library, however. I wish there was some place on earth that could replicate its beauty for what I had seen.

"Sit. I'll have some tea brought in for us. In the vision I had one of you enjoyed tea. Am I correct?" Galadriel said this as she sat me down in a chair that faced hers. She sat down as well.

"Um- Yeah, I like tea. Only, 'one of you'? I don't understand." I looked at her confused, and I'm pretty sure she noticed.

"That's what I was confused about as well. In my vision, I saw two figures with clothes just like that. However, only you are here. Many of my visions have changed slightly but none have added an entire extra person. Are you sure that no one was with you when you arrived?" Galadriel looked vaguely puzzled.

"I'm fairly certain. I woke up alone in some random forest that I can't even recall the name of, despite being handed a map of the area only hours ago. Though, I'm kinda disappointed that I'll be alone during this now. I'm like an alien to all of you, and all the things I say or do could be interpreted wrong, or maybe taken the wrong way. Every action I make could have drastic effects on the future. Man, I wasn't even supposed to be here. But I guess now that I am here, I have a purpose. I don't know what it is yet but I just know that the Valar have something planned for me. I hope." I finished that last part quickly, as I didn't exactly expect myself to be able to change the future all that much. Sure there were things that I didn't like in the original plot of the books and movies, and wished for them to change, but what was I going to do? Become another wimp in a body bag? Wow. I'm super helpful.

At that time, a servant came in with the tea. Galadriel poured me and herself a glass and we both took long sips. The tea was surprisingly the perfect temperature and I was super happy about that. Not too hot and not too cold as some things should be. Perfectly balanced. After that I though for a moment and continued.
