Stupid Enough

Byakuya's P.O.V.

"Meinnel I lo-" I wanted to confess to her . For all that week I had been trying to help her father with her needs and I couldn't stand it hearing everyday that her fever hadn't gone down a bit. I had thought about visiting but I might had made things worse with her been all hurt about that night . While I was talking I saw her close her eyes and fell on her front . I caught her and shook her trying to keep calm " Meinnel .....Meinnel" I quickly stood up and ran carrying her to the infirmary. She had fainted out of the blue and I hadn't seen any signs she would. I got in and the nurse looked at me surprised and then looked at Meinnel in my hands and prepared a bed . After I lied her down the nurse asked me " What happened?" " I can hardly say . We were talking and she fainted . " I said and she nodded taking Meinnel's jacket off and taking a blood sample from her hand " I'll be back soon ." she said and I nodded sitting by her side holding her hand .

Meinnel's P.O.V.

" I feel dizzy." I slowly murmured as I opened my eyes . The first thing that I could recognise was the hospital scent that made me squirm my nose . I was at the infirmary of the school and I looked at my left and saw the person I wanted to be there holding my hand. I softly smiled and he smiled worried " Hey" I whispered " Hey you had me worried ." I smiled apologetically and spoke " I'm sorry" "Don't be . Your blood cells were really low that's why you fainted . Now you won't be able to go to that date." He said triumphantly but also still worried " Why do you want me not to go to that date so badly? And I guess you have someone more important to be right now than to be with me." I said and my words really hurt me but he just smiled softly and rubbed softly the back of my hand. " The only important person to me right now is you and only you. And I want to be with you." " You have a girlfriend." I said and he shook his head " No . Narumi is not my girlfriend. It's been over with her for over a week and when she came to warn you she wasn't my girlfriend ." I nodded smiling softly and moved closer to him " How many hours did I miss?" I asked . He stood up and lied and next to me in the bed hugging me and I laid me head on his chest still Golding hands " Well when the bell rings now school is over so you can say you slept 5-6 hours." I looked up to him " That's a lot." " It isn't considering you couldn't sleep at all because you were coughing ." he answered and I raised an eyebrow smiling " How do you know?" " I have my sources" he smiled and I moved up softly connecting my lips with his closing my eyes. He closed his too kissing me back softly yet passionately. His lips were soft and warm giving me a feeling like fireworks exploding one after another and we both pulled away looking each other in the eyes. I giggled softly and rested my head again . He smiled and then the bell rang and I left an annoying moan turning to face him " I guess that means you'll be coming with me to the manor" He smiled and I nodded and then Takanori pulled the curtain that hid my bed and talked " Meinnel are you -" but when she saw the situation we were her eyes widened and close the curtain " I'm sorry ." . she said and I heard her steps going out of the infirmary . I giggled and sat up and heard a pout . I turned surprised to Byakuya and I saw him pout " Aw you are pouting ." I giggled and he smiled sitting up " I can pout you know. I'm not such an emotionless bastard that like to step on others ." he said and I sweat dropped " OK sorry for saying that back then but you were and I'll never forget how I scowled you that day " " Believe me I won't forget it ever too." He said and stood up picking up his and my bag and handed me my jacket and scarf. I stood up too wearing my gloves ,scarf and then my jacket holding Byakuya's hand and walking out seeing Takanori talk all exited to Rukia and Rukia gasped seeing us. " Aww" was all she said and Byakuya blushed a bit but hiding it dragging me as he walked on saying only let's go.

We reached the manor and we took off our shoes and Byakuya's grandpa came at the door " Byakuya " he greeted and Byakuya walked in still holding my hand . I was scared seeing Byakuya's grandpa so serious looking at us but I stood my ground " Meinnel and I are together from now on ." Byakuya finally said and he left a hm and left . Then Byakuya started to walk and I followed . He opened a door walking in and I blushed staying out and he came back out looking at me confused " Won't you come in ?" " I-It's your r-room " I said blushing and he smiled taking my hand and walking in with me close behind. I looked around and memorised his room . He had a big bed that had black wood and was low with white red sheets on , he had a really big library that covered half of the upper wall opposite his bed and a large black desk. The walls were a pale blue and had a bonsai on his night stand next to the lamp that was a normal traditional white lamp . Outside his room were all the cherry blossom trees and had white curtains . I sat on the beds edge still looking around . I didn't saw a wardrobe and I aw him open a door and quickly was behind him looking in . There was a smaller room that was his wardrobe. He had suits, kimonos, robes, normal clothes , the schools uniform , shoes and everything else in here . " Wow " I said and he chuckled " I see you like it " I nodded and he took my hand leading me out of the wardrobe and opening the next door . That was the bathroom and I gasped . There was a large black shiny bathtub , a large mirror and the counter under it had black shiny stone too but the cupboards ( forgive me I don't know it in English .) were white . There was an open cupboard with many towels and a basket for the clothes. I walked out and looked at him in awe " Your room is way better than mine. " he chuckled and walked over to the bed sitting down and I followed sitting next to him and resting my head on his chest as we fell back with him holding me . " So did you agree with John to go out with him because you liked him?" He asked breaking our comfortable silence " I'm not that stupid. But I'm stupid enough to do it to make you jealous." I smiled " And I guess I'm stupid enough to fall for it ." he smiled and I kissed him softly and after an about five minute make out session I smiled resting my forehead on his " I guess we both are stupid enough for each other ." He smiled pecking my lips " I guess we are "
